  1. I definitely appreciate all of my teachers, past and present but if I had to thank one, it would be my 6th grade English teacher, Ms. Vincelli! She definitely made sure we were all prepared for high school and made learning fun! We were always playing games in class! My favorite memory was when we played survivor! She had a whole bunch of challenges on cards and we were separated into 3 "tribes". She gave us a challenge and we had to pick the team member who was most likely to win this challenge and they then did the challenge! I only won one challenge and it was sculpting a cat out of play-doh! She was definitely one of my favorite teachers and I will always remember her!

  2. I mostly loved all my teachers in elementary school, and mostly love some of my high school teachers that I have in the present. The one teacher that stood out for me was my grade 5 math teacher, Miss Policarpio. She was such a great teacher and was very approachable if I needed help. She would teach us a lesson in the simplest ways possible and try to make it fun so that we wouldn’t get bored and soon enough fall asleep. I was so scared to have her in grade 5, and to this day I am so happy that I got such a great math teacher.

    1. What a great story. Teachers like that are really hard to find and I'm glad you were able to experience such a great experience! Great blog:))

  3. I've had plenty of amazing teachers in my years of school, but one teacher that I appreciate the most is my 2nd grade teacher, Mme Chaput. Believe it or not, I was extremely quiet and shy in grade 2. I wouldn't raise my hand to talk and I would refuse to do presentations in front of my class. She was the teacher that opened me up, she made me feel confortable talking during class. She taught me different strategies to help me present projects. I am very thankful she was my teacher, I definitely wouldn't be the same today if it weren't for her.

  4. I generally love all of my teachers. Of course, there are going to be some exceptions with certain teachers, but I find that entirely normal. Personally, my favourite teacher was my grade 5 french teacher. I remember her being always very patient, and I really appreciated that! She would never raise her voice at us and I find that it made our class environment better. I will definitely never forget her! I'm really pleased with the teachers I have these past years and I really appreciate them!

  5. My favourite teacher was probably my grade 5 teacher. We did a lot of stuff that year and most of it was conversational. She liked to explain stuff really well so that we could understand it better. Although, we usually got off topic with stuff that was kind of relatable to the subject, but it had absolutely nothing to do with what we were learning. That year was probably my best year in terms of grades. Since we didn't do much work, we all got really good marks at the end of the year. I think almost everyone finish with an above 85 average. She was also a really fun teacher. I guess she wanted to make a good first impression since it was her first year teaching at our school. Overall grade 5 was a cakewalk for me and I would certainly re-do it if I could.

  6. I appreciate all of the teachers I have. I find it is important to like your teachers for what they do because you will have them for the rest of that school year! (most probably) One of my favorite teachers that I really appreciate would have to be my science teacher; Mrs Sterle. I am in her class this year and I have to appreciate her because at the beginning of the year, I wasn’t the best at understanding science. Throughout the past couple of months at school, I have gotten way better and my report card mark for term two will be much better than my term one mark. She helps me understand by offering tutorials. I like that she gives up her own lunch time to help students who need it. She even put me next to one of my close friends, Katrina as she is doing well and is helping me. I think appreciating the teachers we have is important and is something everyone should do!

    1. I really like Mrs. Sterle too! She really helps to explain the lessons well, and even says some words in English to help us out! She's definitely one of my favorites this year!

  7. I've always appreciated my teachers but there was this one in grade 5 who really just got on my nerves. I won't say her name but let me tell you she was the meanest teacher I've ever had. She would always yell at me and my friends manly because we weren't her daughters friends. But other than her I love all my teachers. I have also always been a sort of teachers pet without even knowing. It's not my fault I feel the need to strive from their lessons and help the teacher when they need it. I appreciate the fact that I actually get an education and that the my teachers take time(even if it's their job) to come teach us.

  8. I love all my teachers, I’m so lucky that I get to have a good education. So anyone who teaches me I’ll be glad that they did. Though I still have some favorites. It’s really hard to choose but I think it would be my grade 2/3 teacher. Her name was Madame Sophie. I really liked her because she was really fun and always happy! She also thought of really creative projects and orals. When I was little I would be super shy and would only talk to my friends. I would also freak out when there would be orals and presentations. Though she made those really fun and actually enjoyable, so I wouldn’t get many butterflies in my stomach. I really like teachers who make activities fun because it makes me much more interested into the lesson. It will also definitely help me not to fall asleep and be wide awake instead!

    1. Ya, so true it can be really boring listening to oral presentation if the topic is not good. Madame Siphie seems like an amazing teacher

  9. I think my favourite teacher so far is my grade 6 french teacher Mme.CarriƩ. I like her because she was very funny and nice but at the same time a good teacher. She always did activities with us and she was a very active person. Every day she would tell is a new funny story. I had her in grade 5-6. I miss her but not all the homework she gives. That's the only problem she gives a lot of homework.

  10. Almost all of my teachers in elementary school have been great, but one stood out to me. My favourite teacher that I've had was my Grade 5 French teacher, Mme LaFrance. She was really nice and fun. We did so much fun science experiments, we had to make a fire just from getting supplies from the forest by our school. We had some matchmaking supplies as well, one kid brought gasoline and made a fire. She would always make funny jokes about people. She was an amazing teacher.

  11. I have appreciated many teachers from the past and present. Most of my teachers were fun, nice and educational. A teacher from the past I really enjoyed being taught by was my 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Tille. I enjoyed learning fun games with her. We played a game called sparkle a bit like a spelling bee. I was a shy kid in third grade and she would always make me feel comfortable during class. There was also my 6th grade teacher, Ms. Vincelli. Sixth grade was an awesome year in general. She made every class interesting and I never felt bored. When I wasn’t comfortable to ask questions both of my teachers came and asked if I knew what I was doing. On the first day of school both of these teachers were welcoming and excited.

  12. I’ve never really disliked any of my teachers since they are always (mostly) amazing! However, I do pick favourites sometimes, we all do. My favourite teacher so far, has to be my gym teacher from Kindergarten to grade 2! His name was Joe Katz. But everyone called him Joe. He was always so nice and friendly! His sense of humour made him even more cool though! He always made Physical Education fun and he was just that awesome! Each time though, someone would do something wrong, he would go to the basketball net and pray under it! Always fun and it will always be funny! I just wish that he could continue to be my gym teacher forever since he’s just that EPIC!

  13. My favourite teacher from elementary school that I can remember of would be Mme Louise. She was my 1st grade teacher which was the grade were we had to start speaking French in the classroom. She helped me so much at learning this new language. There was also my teacher from kinder garden who was the nicest teacher I new. But she left after a month of teaching us and a meaner teacher replaced her. I’ve also had a lot of mean teacher but Mme Louise was the best.

  14. My favorite teacher of all time has to be my 2nd/3rd grade teacher, Ms. Wajcer. She is my favorite teacher because she was always so nice and made learning math fun rather than boring unbearable. It was much better to learn multiplication with Ms.Wajcer teaching me. That's why she is my favorite teacher. I was really sad though when she retired at the end of year.

  15. The teacher that I will always remember and never forget would probably be my kindergarten teacher, Mrs.Tobin. She was the best teacher because she used to make make class really fun and she used to bring it upon herself if any student in her class did not understand or do badly in class. I guess that kindergarten was the only time I was ever a teacher's pet and it still surprises me that 7 years later, she still remembers my name and how I did in her class.

  16. My favourite teacher and most awesome teacher is Ms. A or Ms. Hall. I cannot choose in between them but in this blog I will only talk about Ms.Hall. She was my Gr.5 English teacher. She was a very straight forward teacher (not in away where she makes fun of you). We did the most amazing projects with her. The strangest challenge was when we she told us to bring a whole box of Oreo cookies and we would put it on our foreheads then not using our hands we had to bring it to our mouth and eat it. Also in the middle of the class she would just take out a bag of candy and throw it saying “Raining candy!!”We might even be reading a novel then she would just throw candy. She always brought treat for us with no reason. She always had funny stories about her past students and being in her class was just a pleasure. I was never tired of going to her class.

  17. My favorite teacher was my grade four teacher, Mme.Josee. She was my french teacher in elementary school. She also used to be an art teacher so we did a lot of art projects with her. She was so nice and so funny. Every day was something new. She made everything that we learned so much fun. We did dialogues for history, we made volcanoes in science. It was so much fun. She said that we were the best class that she had ever taught. She asked the principal if she could teach us again in grade five. The principle said yes! So she was also my teacher then. We did so many art projects that year. One time we drew pictures of birds with pastels. My teacher said they were amazing. We sold them and raised enough money to go on a field trip to Quebec City. I still can not believe that we went there in elementary school. She was the best teacher that I ever had.

  18. The teacher I would like to appreciate is my grade 4 English/math teacher, Ms. Haico. Before, just like every little kid, I hated math! She is the reason I actually like math nowadays. She would make random songs about money! She was also the vice principal of our school! Every one was scared of her. I think that is what helped me succeed in her class, fear. She taught us all good manners, such as saying "Pardon?" in stead of "What!". She taught us how you are supposed to say : " ... ... ... and I, ... ..." . She would have a logical reasoning behind every math equation we solved and they all made sense. Also, it seemed like I was "teacher's pet" in her class. I was the best student in that class! I got good marks, I did well on tests, etc. She really helped me see how school can be great if you put the effort into it! She showed me how my famous: " In conclusion..." would help me receive some extra marks sometimes. Since then, I have always tried to put in those two words in my last sentence whenever I do a writing assignment. She showed me how you do not need to put,"The End", at the end of a story. You can write a sentence that shows your finishing the story. It seems confusing, however it is very simple. She introduced me to the response essays and helped me understand them. She has helped me a lot in that one school year. She was the teacher who would say " sorry" to her students when she made a mistake. I am grateful to have had an amazing teacher such as her, and to all my teachers who have ever taught me, for sharing their knowledge and experience with me.

My favorite teacher ever was in grade 5 , she was my French teacher .I am not sure why French would be good . Everything about it was great we do so many activities and in the school everyone liked her. Usually in elementary school teachers always thought I was in trouble but my French teacher never thought I did anything bad .Every morning she would tell us stories and they were always crazy. The good thing was that she was an easy marker so I would actually do very well. If you finished something early she would let you play on her ipad. If somebody didn't like her they would of probably of been a horrible student. She was like royalty , sadly last year she got pregnant and now this year she isn't teaching. She should get the biggest teacher appreciation because everything that she did was something awesome.

(sorry my internet wasn't working) My favourite teacher of all time is my grade 4 Phys Ed teacher Mrs. Sarah. She was so much fun, she was nice to everyone and she was always a happy person. She would sign us up for every tournament, soccer, basketball, handball, volleyball, ultimate frisbee and some other ones. At my school she made a mini hockey league with grades 4,5 and 6. I signed up every year it was too fun to miss out on. We also did tchouckball with grade 5 and 6 that was even more fun then hockey (in my opinion). She made everyone happy, every class we would try something new to see if we would like and everyone was involved in everything we played or did. I really miss her she was so much fun, she loved sports just like me.
