  1. My best Halloween memory was when I used to go to my daycare when I was little, and they would have like a Halloween party, and all the kids and their parents and aunts and uncles would come and celebrate with the kids and they would dance and sing songs and do crafts, and they were dressed up too! It was fun for me when I was a kid, and the best part was when they would give us all kinds of candy!!!

  2. My very best and memorable halloween moment was when I went to go visit a haunted house. I was around nine years old, and I greatly misinterpreted how scary the haunted house would be. Lets just say, I was shaking by the time I came out of there. I still laugh about it till this day!

    1. At least you were brave enough! There's a really creepy haunted house that I know of and every year they go all out for it! But I'm wayyyy to scared to go in it. Hopefully one day i'll be brave enough.

  3. I can’t remember the exact year but my favorite Halloween memory was when I was in grade one or two. It was really fun because at my junior elementary school we would never do any work! The whole day was dedicated to playing and fun! I really liked to see all the different costumes my classmates wore. It was also really fun because everyone brought candy and sweets so I probably got a lot of cavities from that day…..! On Halloween we would have different games at every classroom we visited. I also remember doing a scavenger hunt with my friends. My favorite part was at the end when we completed all the tasks they gave us, because we got so much candy and by far that was the best part! I really missed it because when I moved up to the senior campus we didn’t do anything as fun as that.

  4. It was a sunny day and everyone was dressed up. My friends and I entered the tall building (our school) in front of us. We were all dressed up and all was well. I don't recall what they dressed up as but I do remember that I dressed up as an angel! Okay, back to the story.... We climbed up the stairs to our lockers and put our school bag in. Leaving the hallway and entering new territory (our classroom) we were frightened by the fact that it was all dark and the drapes were closed. It caused us to shake however our teacher came and all our worries were blown away as if the windows were open (don’t get the idea the windows were open, they weren’t). The classroom was set up differently for the fact that their were tables. Bowls and cups were stacked on it and my friends and I knew exactly what this meant... A HALLOWEEN party! Later on more and more of our classmates entered the room and everything got chaotic until our teacher threatened no party if we didn't settle down. Chips and colourful punch took there places on the 2 tables and we started to have fun. Our teacher took out a camera and snapped and snipped away and we just felt like everything was right since we were having fun! In one of the classrooms their was a movie playing and in another classroom we had the games and food. Our two amazing teachers made a video and showed us it the next day. It was a teeny tiny embarrassing for the fact that I was in the cover page! With my goofy smile and my angel costume, I was turning as red as a tomato when it popped up on the screen! Although that happened I still have to say that it was the BEST halloween party I've ever had without a doubt.

  5. My favourite Halloween memory is when my three siblings and me dressed up with matching costumes. When I was around four years old my family and me watched the movie “Peter Pan”. We all loved it so my parents decided to dress three siblings and me as the characters. My brother was the hero Peter Pan, my little sister was Tinker Bell the fairy, my big sister was the girl that befriends Peter and I was stuck whit the villain, Captain Hook. But I didn’t mind because I didn’t really understand the story. We still have a picture of us four and it is hilarious!

  6. My best Halloween memory would have to be from last year. We celebrated Halloween on the 31st at my school and the 6th graders got to dress in our costumes. We had an open house and I was doing face painting. Everyone came tome because everyone liked what I did. At the end of the day I went home with my friend so that I could go trick or treating with her. I was a gothic vampire prom queen, with the fangs and everything. Last year I got the most candy that I have ever gotten on Halloween. It was so much fun. I love Halloween.

  7. My best halloween memory was a few years ago. I was dressed as a nerd with my best friend, Sydney. We went trick-or-treating in our neighbourhood and our other friend's neighbourhood. We got so much candy, we filled 2 pillow cases! When it started getting really lat and our bags were full, we decided we would go to a haunted house to finish our night. As I was walking into the creepy, scary entrance, I already knew that it was a bad idea, I was right. Every step I took I thought something would just pop out in front of my face! There were bloody dolls and people wearing freaky masks. Every time something moved I would scream at the top of my lungs. It felt like the longest haunted house tour ever and when it was over, I promised myself to never go into a haunted house again.

    1. I don't like going into haunted houses also. They just scare me. That's so cool that you filled up two pillow cases. Great Blog Maya!

  8. My best Halloween was last year because I got to go with my best friend that I hadn't seen in a long time and we both stayed up all night eating candy and playing video games. For breakfast we had more candy because we didn't want to get of the couch. When I left his house we had eaten 3/4 of our bags. All that was left was the lollipops and stuff we didn't really like. It was the best Halloween ever!!!

My best Halloween would have to be last year because I didn't go trick or treating. I stayed inside and played video games until the sun came up and I still got candy. I was handing out candy so I gave out all the stuff I didn't like and after it was done I ate the rest. I still had tons of candy and I finished my second playthrough of the game.

  10. My best Halloween memory was when my friend and I were trick-or-treating and we came up to this one house on a street. It was the only house on the street that was giving out candy and that really kinda creeped us out. So we went up to the house anyway and there was a guy sitting on a chair with a bucket of candy in his hands. When we went up to get our candy, he scared a lot us. I got so scared and had a quick reaction and punched him in the stomach. He then dropped the bucket of candy and they had full-sized chocolate bars, so we took and many bars of candy we could. It was so funny.

  11. My favourite halloween memory was last year. I went out with my two of my friends. I dressed up as terminator, my friend dressed up as a morph and my other friend dressed up as a gangster. We were trick or treating together for around three hours with tons of candy. We were all having a hard time carrying our bags with all the candy we had by the end. Sadly there was school the next day so I couldn't play a ton of video games all night together and eat all our candy but it was still my best halloween memory

  12. The best Halloween memory I have is of Gr.3. In grade three my elementary merged in with another elementary called “Terry Fox”. So it was the beginning of grade three and I knew no one’s name, I was starting to get to know them. Then Halloween came around the corner and their school was totally different how they celebrated Halloween. They had a fashion show for the best costume, a door competition for the best decorated door, a treasure hunt (the treasure was pumpkins) and best of all was their Haunted house. In my old school the haunted house was not scary at all, they had grade six students just jump out of recycling bins(maybe it was because we were just cycle one student and they did not want it too scary). Then this was extremely scary and through whole thing a girl called Hannah and me were shivering walking through it. People had to drag us because we were too scared to take another step not knowing what will be next. That will be an event that I will literally never forget.

    1. Oh my god Madurra! Are you trying to make me jEaLoUs? That sounds like the best thing EVER! You are so lucky to have had that experience. It sounds like a blast! I wish that I was there.... Anyway, just by telling from your writing it sounds like you had a memory forever etched into your brain. Fashion show for the best costume? You won right? I knew it! To be honest, I will be forever jelly of your experience. It also sounds super magical that your school merged with another school. It seems like a memory to remember. I’m just so jealous about this experience! It just sounds so cool! On to the part I've been springing to talk about. The HAUNTED HOUSE.... From your experience, were you forced to enter?! Were you pushed in?! Okay, just kidding with all these questions! The haunted house must of’ve been scary for the fact that you were shivering. Since, well, Madurra is fearless! All I have to say about your blog is, wait your blog cannot be put into just ONE word. You don't even have to expect your blog to fit into one word anyway. Your blog though can be put into 6 words though : great job, I am forever jealous!

  13. My best Halloween memory is last year in grade six. On Halloween we went on a field trip to Gordan Robinson (a beauty school next to BHS).The students there did our make-up and hair to match our costumes I was a punk so I had a big poof on my head. It was really fun. I loved everyone elses hair and make-up. It was really cool. It is one of my best Halloween memories I have ever had.I wish that could happen every year!

  14. My best Halloween memory is last year when i was trick or treating with my sisters and my friends, and my friend accidentily said Merry Christmas insted of trick or treat. It was so funny. We were all laughing so hard and long. After that at every house we said Merry Christmas. It was so much fun. I will never forget it. I had a great time.

  15. My best Halloween memory is probably last Halloween. It was my first time trick-or-treating with my friends instead of with my family. My two best friends and I all dressed up in zombie costumes we made ourselves. We got lots of compliments on them. At some of the houses we said 'happy new years' instead of 'trick or treat'. I don't why we did that or when it started but I went along with it. I got tons of candy and had tons of fun! I won't ever forget that Halloween!

  16. My favorite Halloween memory would have to be last year when I went trick or treating. Me and my friends were walking along the side of the street when suddenly these 2 guys came up to us and scared us by yelling at us. I got so scared I jumped up and some of my candy even spilled! They were doing that a lot and ended up just going around their neighborhood giving candy to kids. It was funny because all of my friends did similar things like me! It was a great and funny night but I wish Halloween could come more often in the year!

  17. My best Halloween memory was when I stayed at my uncle's house and watched horror movies. I did not go trick or treating because I really didn't want to go outside because of the weather and I thought it would be a good idea to invite my friends over to watch horror movies. My friends and I first went to a costume party of one of my other friends, and then we came home and watched The Conjuring. After that night, I couldn't sleep for about a week because the movie was so scary that my mom started getting annoyed and didn't allow me to go to my uncle's house for Halloween anymore.

  18. My most memorable Halloween would have to be last year! I went out with a ton of my friends from elementary school! We ran into lots of other friends and ended up going all together until we finally ended up with around 20 people! I was dressed as a devil. A devil is probably my go to costume every year! This year I think I will be different but I'm not to sure yet! I really have fun and I really enjoyed last year and I definitely got a huge stash of candy that lasted me till about Christmas!

  19. My best Halloween ever was last year it was amazing. It started when my friends came to my house because we were going trick or treating in the neighboorhood. So we ended getting so much more than ever , we would get big chocolate bars not small. My costume wasn't so great for me but the parents loved it but we all know that when parents like it , it is embarrassing . So that was the best Halloween I have ever had.

  20. My best Halloween memory was when I went to a haunted house for the first time. It was about five years ago. It was near my house on Northview Street. It was so much fun but I hate being scared, even for fun, it’s the worst. When I went trick or treating there was a group of people who looked like robots and when you went to get your candy they scared you. I am so scared to go into a haunted house. I will go in one but come out frightened. Sometimes they even put on all sorts of makeup and you can’t see their faces. We always go to Northview because the houses are decorated so beautifully. They also give generous treats. Once when I went trick or treating, I walked up to the house and they gave me a cute little teddy bear. I love everything about Halloween and a good scare can be funny… sometimes.

  21. My best Halloween memories were in grade two and grade three. There is a woman who gives full chocolate bars and not the mini ones for Halloween! Once, I think around grade one or grade two, the woman gave me a plushie! It was so awesome and we never forget to go to her house on Halloween. My other best memory was in grade three, where there was a haunted house at school. There was a setup of a lady with her head cut off and put on a table. I thought that I would be able to get past her without her doing any sudden movements. So, I planned to wait for her first movement. However , on that first move I started to cry and I had to have someone walk me through the whole path! I was so sad that I missed all the fun.

My best memory (or trip) was when I went to Amsterdam and Paris with my mom to visit my two cousins, two aunts, and my grandma. When we were there we went to Disneyland (Paris), The Eiffel Tower, "Little Amsterdam" (smaller scale of Amsterdam), Madame Tussaud Wax Museum, An indoor water park and many restaurants. In Amsterdam, there are so many people that travel on a bike, if you ever go/been you'll see so many bikes! Anyways it really pretty, plus my cousin's have a river behind their house and they have a small boat so we had the chance "sail" in the water. We also went to the Wax Museum, but when we entered we had the go through this dungeon and it was really scary. Then later when we entered the actual museum part, I was to scared to take any pictures with the statues because I thought they would pop out at me. Well I took a picture with one person, Spider-man. In Paris, we went to the Eiffel Tower, there were many "performance" such as dancers, mimes, singers, there were also some street vendors that were selling hats, purses, t-shirts, CD's, etc. we stayed there for almost the entire night. The next day we went to Disneyland with everyone (my cousins, aunts, grandma and some friends) and went on a lot of rides. On our last full day in the city went to Disney Village and bought many things, plus we went to the Rain Forest Cafe and was scared by a fake snake that pop up. It was so much fun, I wish I could go back.

  23. My best Halloween memories was when I was five years old. That year me and my friend had complete opposite costumes so h was the good guy and I dressed as the villain so we were went door to door wearing those costumes. After trick or treating me and my friend went to my house to eat some candy. While we were eating candy my dad came out of nowhere and scared us and took some of our candy. Then we went outside to get more candy when we got home I had so many weird things in my candy bag like a toothbrush, raisins and even a rice cake. That was my best Halloween I ever had it was so much fun.

  24. My best Halloween memory was from when I was 9 years old. That year I had dressed up as a football player. I had used my brother’s equipment which was way too big for me. I was so excited to go to school because we were going to have a contest for the best costume. The contest was done by elimination and after a while it was just me and another girl, Giuliana Gianini. That year there was only me and two other boys in my class so all the girls decided to vote for Giuliana, except for the occasional few. In the end I came second, but I still got a small prize. HALLOWEEN IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  25. My favorite Halloween memory would probably be from 2 years ago. 2 years ago, I was trick-or-treating alone, and my dad was just walking around with me. It was getting late and I was about to go home, but I still had a couple houses to go to. At my second to last house, I rung the doorbell, but I didn't know that inside there were two guys that were going to try to scare me. So, they open they door and this guy in a really weird costume jumps out of no where and yells in attempt to scare me. I didn't find it scary at all though, I didn't flinch and because I didn't flinch, I got double the candy. It was pretty cool.
