The thing that I look the most in a friend is there respect, I feel like that was my first one because u need respect when you have a friendship with someone, if they don’t have respect for you or anyone around them, than it just shows that they don’t deserve the respect that you would give to them. Some other things that I look for in a friend are honesty, support, trust, etc…
I totally agree with you! Friendship is basically based on respect! If they aren't going to respect you what's the point of this friendship then. All the other qualities you wrote are also amazing and I agree with you! Honesty is something that is also super duper important. If they are going to lie to you all the time, why bother with them. Being honest to your friend also means respect. If you are telling them the truth, you respect them and trust them by doing that little thing. Support. That one word is WHIMSICAL. If they aren't going to have your back and give you support, it's fine. But those are one of the qualities that make a BEST friend. Supporting your friend through tough times is like telling them they they got A++++++ on all their subjects! I love all the qualities you quoted. You didn't miss a single one from my top 5! I really thought your blog covered everything I was looking for! I L-O-V-E-D your blog! Emily Keophila
The most important aspect in a friend to me is loyalty. Someone that has your back in difficult situations and someone who can support you when your down. I personally think that without the personality of loyalty, a friend doesn't have the characteristics they should have. Having a loyal friend means having a friend that will appreciate you, rather than spend time with you when its convenient for them. I think loyalty is definitely a desirable quality.
When I read this. The first thing I thought was : this seems like the perfect definition for loyalty! It should be put into a dictionary for how amazing this blog is! It totally describes loyalty alright. All of those examples were one of a kind if you ask me. Starting with your first one. It is so true! Having a friend that can support you when needed is like winning a $1 000 000! Someone who can make you laugh and love you know matter what you do wrong. Also for this, great job! A friend should basically be born with the quality of loyalty. I absolutely think this blog is so amazing. Seems like I can go on and on about it! A friend should totally just spend time with you because they actually like you. Not just for their time. It kind of makes me think of so many things. It's opening new doors for me right now! Loyalty is A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Know matter what, I think everyone is going to be attracted to loyalty because of how magical it would be if your friend is like that. My last words. Your blog was so sensational! Emily Keophila
In a friend I always look for trustworthy. Trustworthy is very important to me, because if you have a friend that you can’t trust then things can go really wrong. Also I can’t keep secrets to myself. So I always tell my friends things. But if they’re not trustworthy then I can never share my secrets with them, because a minute later everyone would probably know! I also like to know that I can trust someone because it makes me more comfortable around them. ~capria yee
I think being trustworthy is one of the most important qualities that I friend should have. They shouldn't be spilling out your secrets to other people. That is just not how true friends should act like.
You last ending sentence was so phenomenal! A friend should totally make you feel comfortable when your around them. It should be all natural and not faked or forced. On to the 'actual' subject. TRUSTWORTHINESS! When you have a friend, you won't want them to just spill all your secrets! It's a sign that you can't trust them! If they do that to you, you obviously would become insecure about all the things everyone has heard. Trustworthiness is definitely something everyone should look for in a friend. If you can't trust them, it won't be any fun to actually spend time with them then. What if they twist your words and start a rumour. Who knows, that's why a trust worthy friend is essential to life. Your blog is the perfect definition for that! Anyway, who would want a friend talking and spilling out everything about you. I really liked all the examples you put into your blog. All of them perfectly explain why you chose trustworthy as your most desirable quality. I thought your blog was jaw-dropping! Emily Keophila
The most important quality that I look at in a friend is listening skills. It is an important quality to me because everybody always needs a friend to talk to. This is the most important quality for me because if they don’t listen to what I have to say they don’t respect me for who I am. I need to feel confident that my friend won’t turn her back on me. If they don’t listen to you then it shows they don’t want to be your friend. If I have a problem I could go and talk to them and they wouldn’t ignore me. They would listen and try to give me some advice.
To me the most important quality for a friend to have is to be trustworthy. If I have a friend that I cannot trust, I am just saying but our friendship is not going to last very long. To me if I cannot tell you a secret you are not friend. I like all my friends to be trustworthy, so that if I do have secret and I tell them my secret, I know that my secret won’t be spilled out to the whole 7th grade! To me that is the most important quality and all my friends have that quality therefore I am happy to know that when I do tell my friends something they won’t spill it. Abby
In my opinion, I think the most important quality in a friend is loyalty and trust worthy. A friend that is loyal will always be there for you when you need to talk or tell them secrets. They always have your back and tries their best to never let you down. They will tell you the truth instead of telling a lie even though they know that sometimes the truth hurts. Loyalty requires a lot of responsibility for example: a friend that is loyal has to be honest, supportive, dependable, a good listener and has good advice for situations. There are a lot of desirable qualities in friends but I think loyalty is the most important. Quote ~A best friend is like a four leaf clover, hard to find and lucky to have~ Unknown
In my opinion, the most important trait of a friend is to have one that listens and who's trustworthy. Listening is very important because whoever gets to know me, knows that I talk way too much. I normally stay on the same subject for a really long time. I also think this because I think that I'm a pretty good listener and I would like my friends to treat me the same way I treat them. Trust also ranks number 1 in my most desirable things in a friend because I usually get very annoyed when somebody lies to me. If I'm ever friends with a liar, I usually try to control my anger or I try not to curse at them( I curse a lot). I would love a friend that I can confide in and tell all my secrets to. Right now, I really like the friends that I have now and I don't plan on leaving them anytime soon. -Tisha
The most important trait of a friend is to have one who is honest with you. I think that it is very important because if you have a friend that lies and is not honest they wouldn't be a good friend. I think it is important that you have good and honest friend that you can always talk to even if it's personal things. Some other traits that I think are important are respect and support. Because you always want people to respect you and support because if your sad or things aren't going well I think you need a friend to support you Cameron

For me, the best quality I look for in a friend are a lot of things. I can’t exactly choose one though. I’ve discussed this with myself and I have found the quality I ALWAYS look for in a friend. Honesty. Why wouldn’t you tell your friend the truth? They are your friend anyway. I just find that if they can actually tell me the truth and they aren’t lying, then I will be extremely happy cause of that. I don’t like it when a friend is dishonest. If they lie to you, you could ask them why can’t I lie to you if you’ve lied to me? Tough question alright. However some things, are meant to be kept to yourself. So, I’m kind of siding with both. I just find that what if they are just your friend to end up just saying I was using you. Ha. Basically, I know what I am trying to point out is confusing but I would like a friend that ALWAYS tells the truth. Not lying straight to my face and being honest with me 24/7. Who wouldn’t want an honest friend? I am not trying to get you to disagree with me but everyone has their own qualities they search for in a friend. Another reason is because from personal experiences, I find that truth is the best thing you can always look for. If a friend can’t offer honesty why offer being my friend at all if your going to lie to me all the time. To end this off, honesty is the best policy. (Did anything in my blog even make sense?) I am probably a lot different from everyone else in thinking that the most desirable quality in a friend is for them to be shy. If they are shy they are usually hard to meet but once you get to know them I find they are usually the nicest! I have been in relationships with friends that did not respect and that always try to change me. If a person doesn't like you for who you are well why are you friends with them if all they want to do is change you.
I think the most desirable quality of a friend, is being loyal. One of the worst feelings is when somebody neglects you or just leaves you with no reason. You would feel so hurt and bad if someone was not loyal to you. It’s hard to know that someone you thought you could so trust and be with the rest of your life, a B.F.F.L.(Best Friends For Life) has left you. That is the main reason that it is the most preferable quality for me. The other qualities would not hurt you as much as this. When you are loyal, you do not forget your friends even when you make new ones. A friend should not be replaceable if you are loyal. New or old, they are always friends and should be remembered for the good things they have done to you, and respected as equally as your new friends. This is a very important quality in a friend.
A really important thing i look for in a friend is respect. Everyone would want a friend that would treat them with 100% respect, they wouldn't tease you or make fun of you. Unfortunately, no one perfect, and that's what good about this world. There are different adjustments you have to get used to when you have a new friend. Another important quality to me in a friend is honesty. Who wouldn't want their friend to tell them the truth. If a friend of yours is lying to you, then he's not really a friend is he? Obviously you won't give your friend your life story, but you talk with them and give the important and sometimes embarrassing stuff and if they tell someone else, then maybe they're not ment to be your friend.
The most important thing to have with a friend is loyalty. Loyalty is very important because your friend should be loyal enough to not turn on you. Also, (in my opinion) if you make the choice to her/him a secret that you don't want anyone to know you trust your friend enough to, well, not tell anyone.I find that when you are a loyal or trustworthy person, people are "attracted" to you and they want to be your friend.
I think trust is a very important quality in a friend. Obviously you would like to trust your friend. If you can't necessarily trust your friend, they might not be a very good friend. It's nice to know you have another person ( your friend ) that you can trust. It's important you trust someone . You can't have all your stress or problems inside of you your whole life, you have to tell someone. Most likely they would try to help you. And that's why I think trust is very important.
The most important thing about a friend is that you need to trust them, because if you don't trust them they aren't really your best friend. My best friend is in the immersion so we don't get to see eachother a lot and he hangs out with people who like to prank so if there was something going on my friend wouldn't prank because we are best friends who trust eachother. I trust my friend with everything because I know he will give it back or help and that's why I thing trust is the most important thing about a true friend. Matthew Colpron

ReplyDeleteThe most important thing to have with a friend is loyalty.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to add this in my blog above. I think it's very relieving knowing you have someone to talk to.
ReplyDeleteThe most important thing about a friend is that you need to trust them, because if you don't trust them they aren't really your best friend.
