Communication is very important, so I guess that's why we're learning to speak a third language. Let's say your doing a project with a partner and you are supposed to communicate to help each other do their parts of the project. And let's say that you don't communicate during the entire project, well, you and your partner will not get a good mark if you don't communicate. Collaboration is another important aspect of the IB. Again, your doing a project and your partner does all the work and you do nothing. Maybe your partner will get a good mark, but you won't. That's why you each need to do your part of the project and collaborate.

DeleteThe group assignment that we are doing in class requires that we do it in groups of 4 or 5. When doing group projects or assignments, it is extremely important to listen to other classmates opinions and communicating among others. Everybody in the group should do an equal share of the work and share their thoughts and ideas for every step. In everyday life, we are taught to communicate and get along with others, and I think this project will definitely help us improve on our communication and collaboration skills.

For me I think communication and collaboration would be a big part of the literature circle, I feel like without communication you can’t share your thoughts or your opinion about the book, and it would be difficult to have the motivation if you aren’t sharing something you dislike or would like to add to give it more flavour. Without collaboration it would be difficult to agree amongst each other, to be in a group of people for a project you would need to accept the other persons ideas and make it easy for both of you instead of disagreeing on little things.

DeletePersonally, our new literature circle will take part in the category of Communication and Collaboration. This project will allow us to communicate with our partners. I think this is a great opportunity to get to know others in my group. This project tests our listening and cooperation skills. I know that in order for my partners and I to succeed in this project I will have to get to know my partners by communicating with them. I like the fact that this project includes everyone participating together rather than working individual. I really like this project because it allows us to communicate and collaborate with others not only in class, but outside of class too.

DeleteI think it will be very important to communicate and collaborate while we are working in our literature circles. First of all, I think it is very important to communicate because when you’re working in groups you have to get everyone’s thoughts and ideas. What happens if you don’t speak? Also when you are working in a group it is even more important to listen to other people’s ideas. Collaboration is another very important part of working in groups or partners. Everyone has to collaborate or else you will get a bad mark compared to your partner or group members. It’s very important to collaborate because then it is showing you are putting an effort as well your partner. I think these are the two most important aspects of IB and working on assignments in general.

DeleteIn our everyday life it’s important to communicate and collaborate. Especially in this last group project because if we don’t, for sure we won’t be successful. These two IB requirements are mainly required in group projects. If we don’t communicate with our partners, it’s pretty obvious people will get confused and ideas won’t come across properly. Since were reading a book, it would be really helpful for the whole group, if we share our ideas and thoughts about our book. It would make things easier if we can communicate and would make it more interesting. It’s also important when we collaborate because if we don’t, things will end up all wrong. Since it’s a group project we need to show teamwork, but if no one collaborates with each other, it’s hard to reflect this important quality. Collaborating is an opportunity to become more open to ideas and learn new things. It’s a useful thing to use and benefits a lot when working in groups.Hopefully my group and I can get along very well and use these two IB requirements, because if we do, it’s guaranteed a successful project!

If we're in our groups and we all don't want to or be able to communicate and collaborate, it won't go very well. One of the key and important parts of any project is being able to communicate and collaborate, not just for this project but for any group project. It will be very important to communicate and collaborate because we wont be able to share any ideas that we have, we have to be interested and committed and not shy, we must communicate and collaborate for this last project of the year, also it's a basic IB requirement and we're all IB students so we all need these IB qualities, Communication and Collaborate.

Obviously one person could do the whole project... but what would be the point of a Lit. Circle and different roles if that was the goal? For us to be put in groups, evidently the goal was for us to collaborate and communicate. We wouldn't be able to do a project as a group if we didn't. By working together not only will we get this project done faster than if it was one person, but we could make the project better in the sense that everyone has a different idea that we could combine and we could spot mistakes faster. It prepares us for life as an adult. We'll have to communicate and collaborate with different people and if we get started young we'll have the advantages of have some experience under or belts. These group projects will only benefit us and it will make us better leaders in the future.

Communication And collaboration will be important in this unit because we are all in groups working on the same project and for the project to be a good and successful one we all have to work and communicate with each other. We can’t fight or argue over this project, we all have to work together so that we can have the best project and get a good mark. There can’t just be one person working on the whole project, everyone will have to work together. There can’t be no shy people because you need every ones input and advice on the project.

ReplyDeleteCommunication and collaboration is very important for the literary circles. Since this is a group project we all need to be on the same page. Of course we will have our different opinions on the book and have different thoughts but it is still important to express these opinions and thoughts. We all have to work together on this project and that means that we definitely have to communicate. We can't just do the project individually, because then it would not be a proper lit. circle. Also, communication and collaboration are very important for group projects because everything will flow easily and there will be less problems. There will be no fights or disagreements.

DeleteCommunication is definitely key because you all have to be on the same page. if your not, one person could be completely finished the book while the other is only at like chapter two! Collaboration is certainly important because even if you all have different opinions, you all have to agree on something or else this whole project will be one huge mess! You also have to be patient because not everyone reads at the same pace so you will all be a different points in the story but hopefully somewhat close!

If you have one teamate doing one thing and another doing the exact same thing, thats a bunch of time that both of you wasted. But if the two of you know what youre doing and you do one thing and you friend does another thing, you can increase your productivity.

DeleteIn group projects collaboration and communication is really important. That is the point of a group projects. In a group if you do not have these two qualities it will usually end up one group member doing all the work. Then you would not do anything or learn anything. Then what is the point of doing projects or going to school. It is really important to have a strong relationship between you and your peer in a project because if you don’t and you always don’t do your work personally I would not like doing anymore projects with you nor have a good opinion on you. This is really important in this project since every Wednesday we will talk about what we read and our opinion and it would not be pleasing if you say nothing and do not participate. That is my opinion on collaboration and communication.

DeleteCommunication and collaboration are the most important things in a project. Almost whatever you do is easier in a team. That’s why teamwork is so important. Communication is important because if you don’t talk to each other you can’t know what your teammates are doing. Today’s meet is a very good way of doing this. I think that if our team can get these two things right then we could be much more productive and have a much better project.

That's what group projects are basically about! Since you need communication and collaboration to decide on things. Everyone in your team has to agree and in order for that to happen, you will need to communicate and to collaborate with your partners. These two things will be extremely vital for this project since we have to communicate on our thoughts, ideas, opinions, etc on the book. We will need to collaborate since we have to agree on the decisions that will be happening and the decisions that will not be happening. For this project, we will need to communicate well since we have to discuss our thoughts on the book. For collaboration, we will definitely need to listen to our partners. In order to collaborate, we will have to get along with everyone in our group. In my opinion, projects are at least 75% about how well you can communicate and collaborate with your fellow classmates.

I think communication will be extra important while doing our literary circles. We need to discuss what we have read to make sure that we are all understanding what is going on. Since we are communicating on Today's Meet, it is important that we write down everything that we are saying and thinking. This way, we can explain things to each other that we might not understand. We also have to agree on how the setup of our glog will be. Communication will be very important to make sure that we all like what is going to be put on the glog. If my team can get all these things going great, we could be super productive and our project will turn out great.

I think communication is really important in our lit circles. Without communication your group won't be organized at all. If their is no communication in your group you don't know who is doing what for the project.

ReplyDeleteCommunication will be very important during our literary circles. It is one of the most important things when it comes to group projects. If we don't communicate we won't be able to give our ideas and our opinion of each chapter to each other. Collaboration will also be a huge part of our literary circles since we have to put all of our ideas together to make our glogs. We must all agree on the same things and have some discussions together as a group. It is great that we have TodaysMeet to communicate with our partners. Hopefully our project will be finished on time and be well done.
Communication is mandatory in our lit circles. Without it our whole project would not work out at all. I does not matter if this only affects one person. However, it affects all the team members. Why should the whole team go through loss because of one person. When working in teams like our lit circles, we have to get to know each other and accept their flaws at least for the amount of time you are working with them. "A houses divided against itself cannot stand"~Abraham Lincoln. This is what I am trying to say. In team work, if you do not communicate properly and fight all the time, it will not work out. As a team, you have to stick together and do your part rightfully. Not only communication, it is collaboration too. If you talk only and do not help with the work, it does not do much change. In a team, you have a certain role. You should do it properly or not at all. I believe that these two things are crucial and have to be present when doing a team project.

We will have to work together to accomplish the glog. We will have to share ideas and pick the best ones for the best possible blog. We will need to collaborate and do our parts in the project, in order to stay on the same page, and hopefully we will get it done well.
ReplyDeletethe current assignment which we are doing in class is a group project and in order to succeed you must take the time to listen to everyone in your group to help you. Communication is the key thing to help you participate better in a group for class. The site todays meet is a very good idea because it helps us understand more from the question that your teammates ask in your group. If you and your partner talk and say that one person is doing this and the other is doing something else it takes the risk away from wasting time because you did the same thing is your partner.
