The strangest meal combination i’ve ever had was around for breakfast and I was planning on eating eggs, so I made myself eggs. After I was done eating all my eggs, I really wanted to eat something with chocolate, so I decided to have some milk chocolate, and then when I bit into the chocolate and it had a weird after taste because I had eggs before it, and after I ate the chocolate my stomach hurt for the whole day.
One of the strangest meal combinations I've ever had for breakfast was leftover pizza from the night before and quinoa salad! I really don't know why I voluntarily ate such weird breakfast foods that morning. I remember waking up craving exactly that meal! Straight after I ate this, I felt really sick. Since I ate such a big meal for breakfast, I barely ate the rest of the day. I will definitely not eat such strange foods for breakfast again!
One of the strangest meal combinations I've ever had was ice cream for dinner with pizza on the side. It was with my friend and we decided to have a sleepover. It was 8:00 and we still haven't had dinner. So we took some leftover pizza out of the fridge and some ice cream. It tasted amazing, aside from how gross it sounds, it tastes amazing. His parents came home and realized there was no pizza left and asked us why and we made up a fake excuse :D. Justin Pugsley
The strangest meal combination I ever had was rice and ketchup! It sounds gross, however it tastes amazing! The first time I ever tried it was in Cuba. We were participating in a tourism activity in Cuba and we stopped at a restaurant for awhile. I hated the food the restaurant served. I had rice and other things that I never really ate. However, I realized there was ketchup. I took the bottle and poured in a little bit into the rice. I mixed them both and took a bite. It was pretty good! I never new ketchup and rice could make such an amazing combination. My mother started to scream at me that I never ate the food I was given and that people who sat at the restaurant were going to be disgusted. I did not mind at all, as long as my stomach was full, I was fine. In the end, after I came here I tried the two together and it was even better than before! I hope someone else tries it another day.
For me, Mac&cheese is the perfect meal to try weird things on. First of all, Mac & cheese is amazing straight up by itself. Although, I do love it with toppings. I've had Mac & cheese with ketchup, with bacon bits with hamburger meat. I've also had Mac & cheese in a hamburger. My next "challenge" is to have Mac & cheese on a poutine and from there, great things and great meals will be destined to happen.
My mom and I love watching tv while eating snacks. As a snack we usually have chocolate and chips, which is salty but sweet. It taste delicious when I take one bite of chocolate then one chip. It leaves a wonderful taste in my mouth that makes me want more. Recently, when I was grocery shopping with my mom, something caught our eye. CHOCOLATE COVERED CHIPS! We were so excited to try them when we got home, and they were absolutely amazing. I bet if we had more time we could've invented this genius snack combo.
The weirdest combination I’ve ever had in my entire life is pancakes, Nutella and to top it off with bacon. I don’t eat it that often because it isn’t that healthy but it’s so tempting. When I woke up in the morning I was craving all three of these things and then I just put them all together. It is the best combination in my opinion because it’s delicious. It sounds really gross but when you eat it, it’s the best. I never eat strange foods like this but if you don’t try you never know. This is the best combination I have ever had in my life.
The weirdest food combination I ever ate was at a birthday party. We were stuffed from eating sweets all night so none of my friends felt like having cake. Instead we saved it for breakfast and had breakfast food with it. It was so weird because I ate eggs and bacon and drank orange juice, plus a bit of vanilla cake. It was the most strangest breakfast I have ever had in my life! I think the orange juice was what made it taste even more worst. In my opinion orange juice only goes good with breakfast food and nothing else! So I’m guessing that’s why I had an upset stomach the rest of the day. Though I was happy because I was able to have cake for the first time at breakfast, but for sure I’ll never want to try it again, well at least not with breakfast food!
The strangest meal combination I have ever had would have to be when I ate a peanut butter sandwich, with chips and salsa afterwards. Now that might not sound that bad now, but imagine eating peanut butter followed by salsa! It is not the best! My family and I went shopping after we ate, and then when we got back home I realised that that wasn’t the best choice to eat because I ended up just throwing it all up. Now I know NEVER to eat those two foods together ever again! Julia Daniele
I usually eat the same things everyday, cereal, soup and a bagel. One day my mom had just left for the grocery store and the fridge was empty. Knowing how long my mom food shops took I made a sandwich with anything left in the fridge. I made a sandwich with mayo, salsa, tomatoes (which I hate), salami and bananas all on pita bread! It was disgusting but it was better that nothing. I probably should have just waited for my mom to come back.
One of the weirdest meal combinations I've ever had was when I came home from hockey and there wasn't very much to eat in the fridge. So I saw two things that I liked and it really tasted good. I had pizza and chocolate. Before I brushed my told me my breath was so bad it made him gag. Just before I went to bed my stomach hurt a little.
The weirdest food combination that I ever had was at my friends birthday party last year. We had pizza and there was also a bowl of chips on the table so we all put chips on our pizza! Cheetos on pizza actually wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be! I was just like another cheesy element to the pizza! It was pretty good so I know to put Cheetos on pizza again one day!!!
The weirdest food combination I have ever had was one night for dinner was when we just wanted to empty out the fridge, so we had pizza, mini quiches, meat balls, and chicken wings, and vegetables. Some times we do things like that before we go on vacation so the food in the fridge doesn't go bad while we are gone. I love it when we do things like that but sometimes the combinations seem kind of bad but they are actually good.
I have never really had a weird food combination but I have had a weird drink combination. This happened when I was about six years old. I was really bored and thirsty so I went in the fridge and looked for something to drink. There was so many things to choose from. I didn't know what to pick. So I decided to have a bit of everything. I got a glass and poured some orange juice, apple juice, 7up and some fizzy water. I took one sip and I hated it. It was so bad. I guess I should have seen it coming, but I was only six. When my mom found out about this she was a bit mad for wasting all those different drinks. But she still laughed. Now whenever I am thirsty I get ONE drink. -Erin
That sounds like a really interesting combination of liquids! I kind of really want to try that now! Your blog is absolutely AMAZING! Great story Erin! ~ Emily Keophila
The strangest mixture of food I ever had would be this food I ate when I was on vacation. We were at my aunt’s house. She is a great cook according to me. So one night she made us food. I was starving. Then she brought me this new food that looked gross but smell normal. I asked what it was she told me it is egg with eggplant, onion, pepper and other healthy stuff. I did not want to eat that. But my parents forced me to try it because one it is disrespectful and two I need to try new things. Then after I tasted it was not bad, then I thought that if I add a little bit of mayo to this it would even better. But after I did that and ate I just ended up puking everything out. I guess something should be left the way they are. -MAdurra.S
Nowadays I don't really eat strange food combinations, but one that I've been eating for a long time was pizza and ranch dressing. I've completely stopped now, but till I was 11, whenever I used to wake up super late on the weekends, this used to be my go-to breakfast. Looking back at it is kind of gross because the last time I ate it, I threw up because I used to eat a lot back then. Now, I'm back to eating regular pizza and I only eat ranch dressing with my salad.
There is probably something 1000 times more strange than what I am about to tell you but I can’t think of it right now. So what it is, is, something that is honestly my favourite thing in the world and it is Nutella and cream cheese. I do not know why but it is my favourite thing in the whole universe. I could a full pool of it.!! abby
Cake and soup. No other words but CAKE and SOUP. I had that combo before and by far from all of the strange things I've had, this just has to be number one. During supper time, I was drinking my soup but craving cake at the same time. My aunt saw me eyeing the plate of cake on the table and told me that I could eat it with my soup. Being the strange kid I am, I took a bite of it while drinking my soup. I thought that it was pretty good at first, until after I finished everything. My stomach hurt TERRIBLY afterwards and it was just plain old awful. I really think that, that combination tasted bad since the cake really made the soup bitter. To this day forward, I think about my decisions more carefully before actually doing them. ~ Emily Keophila
I have had some pretty weird food combination my life, but the weirdest one I've had is Caesar salad dressing with popcorn. I know it sound weird and gross (it is), but I'll explain why I ate this. So a while ago, I went to my friend's house. I was there for quite a while. She ask me if I wanted to play this game she played with her brother and I said sure. Okay so in the game, we had a bowl full of different kinds of food and we had to pick to different pieces of paper and then we would have to eat that combination. We ate mayonnaise and banana, nutella and carrots, almonds and mustard and a lot of different other things. It was so disgusting, but some combinations were good like the nutella and carrot. We had a lot of fun that day!
Well let me just say that my strange food experience would make your stomach flip. Luckily that wasn't on the dinner menu. I'm not really picky about my food. I grew up with two different ethnic back rounds. On my dad's side all my family come from the Caymans. Trinidad to be exact. Because of their origins I've experienced a lot of weird, spicy and hot foods. On my mom's side, my mom and grand-mother come from Yugoslavia. It's not on modern day maps since it split into two countries. But it used to be by the 'boot' of Italy. I have eaten a lot of European based foods. They love to use garlic and onions too. So one night my mom decided to surprise my sister and I by making us try chicken heart and liver. I won't go into much detail since I think you get a visual and probably a funny taste in your mouth by just the mention of such a thing. Let me just tell you the food looked like it came from the inside of an animal an it tasted that way too (and yes I know it actually did). The worse part my mom forced me to take a palate full and the fact that my sister actually liked them. But hey, you need an acquired taste for it I guess. So yeah that was my weird food experience but luckily it's nothing compared to the stories my mom and dad told me of their experiences. But that's another story for another time. Lara
The weirdest combination of foods I have ever had was when I was at the table and for lunch we would have some meats , chips , pickels , etc, and I had some chips and then a pickle and trust me on this that is the worst thing ever because the pickle takes so much of the taste out . Later that week I found these pickeld chips and I was about to faint. It was the worst experience in my life. One of my other combinations where pasta and this bad dressing and it tasted like someone put it in dirt and out it all back it. That was in fact the worst combination ever. Matt Colpron
When I was little I once tried a hotdog with everything inside it like mayo, ketchup, mustard and relish inside one hotdog. It ended up getting me sick which was pretty bad. I needed to even leave school. That was a really bad hotdog. I think I also added something else I forgot what it was. That was the most weird and disgusting thing I have ever ate. Daniel Carducci
I remember this one time, there wa no food in the house, so my dad and me just made random things. It wa bacon with a salad. There was a couple vegetables also. It wasn't the best mixture but it was all we had.
