My movie memory was when i was 6 or 7 years old and we went to go watch the movie UP at the movies with my dad. So he got me the small popcorn with a drink and he got a big popcorn with a drink as well. While we were watching the movie, someone in the back of me hit my seat really hard and my popcorn fell on the floor, when my dad saw that he did that he gave me his popcorn and said that i didn’t matter if he didn’t have any, i just thought that was so sweet of him to give me his popcorn.
Ever since I was a little girl, I always enjoyed going to the cinema! My sister, my Dad and I used to always go see movies together. I remember once my dad took me to go see Monsters University, which he was excited to see too. I remember being so excited to see the movie because it was in 3D!!! It was the first ever movie I got to watch with the 3D affect!!! My sister, my Dad and I all really enjoyed the movie! To top it all, after the movie, my dad bought some coins at the arcade and we played there for a little while! Till this day we all still love to watch "Monsters University" and we also love the prequel!!
I love watching movies, and I find them a lot more fun when I watch them at the cinema. One of my most memorable movie experiences, was when I was about 5 and I went to the movies with my friend Sydney and her mom. I forget the exact name of the movie, but it was about the sea creatures and their habitats. Something that made this movie so interesting was the special affects! We watched it in 3D which made it look so much more realistic.I remember being so excited to go home and tell my parents about my special day, one that I will never forget.
That seemed like so much fun! I agree it's so much more enjoyable seeing movies in 3D. Especially since the sea creatures look so close to you and realistic! GREAT BLOG
When I think of cinema, the first movie that came to my head is 17 Again. When my cousin's came here from Amsterdam to visit us, they wanted to go to the cinema and watch 17 Again a PG-13 movie. Okay, so going to watch this movie was my two cousins (13 and 14), my aunt, my other aunt, and me (I was 7). When I walk into the cinema I don't think I saw any guys, the girls just wanted to see Zac Efron. While the movie was playing there quite a few inappropriate words and scenes, so my cousin's kept covering my eyes for all of those scenes. In the end, it was a pretty awesome movie and I will never forget that day.
The most memorable experience I had at the cinema was when I went to the IMAX Theater in the old port. We went as a school to watch the documentary “Flight of the Butterflies”. This movie was memorable because it was on a gigantic screen. When you saw all of the monarch butterflies come up it was beautiful, they were everywhere. The movie itself was very good and I enjoyed myself. I like watching comedies or action movies but this movie was very well done. It was my first movie in IMAX that I ever saw but it probably will be the best movie in IMAX. I always enjoy myself when I go to the cinema.
Going to the movie theater is so much fun! I just like how the room is completely black and the screen is enormous! I also like how it’s another excuse for me to eat more junk food! I enjoy going to the movie theater every time, but the best time was when it was my friend’s birthday party. I can’t remember the movie we watched, but I remembered it was hilarious and my friends and I would laugh so much! It was also pretty fun because since it was in 3D, my friends and I would pretend we were touching the things and we would reach our hands out to “touch them”. At the end we played games in the arcade and I remember having a blast!
So true. Going to the cinema is just another excuse to eat junk food! And watching movies in 3D is always so much fun. It's like your part of the movie and you always try touch the objects floating in the air. Lara
I don't really remember what my favorite movie was from the theater. Every movie that I go see in the theaters are usually good. I love to go to the theaters but i don't go very often. I love to go to the theaters because I get to watch a movie on a giant projector (although it looks like a screen) and eat delicious theater popcorn with a lot of butter and salt, which makes it the best popcorn in the world. When I go to the theaters, I usually like to go see 3D movies, because it feels like you are apart of the action. I just love to go to the theaters once in a while.
I LOVE going to cinemas! It's always fun and enjoyable with the loud sound and the extra large screen! One of my most unforgettable experiences at the movie theatres were when I went with my cousins, aunts and brother to the cinema to watch How To Train Your Dragon 2. At first, all of us thought that the movie was extremely magical with the animation as detailed as it could get! As it continued though, my baby cousin found it awfully scary, squirming and talking in his baby language in the back row seats with his mom. Then suddenly, a giant dragon comes onto the screen and he …. poops! A stinky smell flows toward where I'm sitting and I choke on my popcorn. However, I totally forgave him when I found out that he was scared the living daylights out of! I'll never forgot this memory since it's definitely something to tease him with when he's older! Hopefully, these few months will past by quick, so by the time summer comes .... I'll be able to go to the move theatres with them AGAIN!
I enjoy watching movies in the theater, especially with the popcorn. My most favorite movie experience is when I watched "Frozen". What made it memorable was that, we wanted to watch another movie and there wasn't any more tickets left. So then I suggested that we go watch "Frozen". " Frozen" started in two hours so we entertained ourselves by playing PAC-Man. We also went to eat in the meantime. In conclusion, "Frozen" was the most memorable movie I watched in the theater.
I have a lot of favorites since my aunt and cousin are total movie fanatics and they drag me along. I always have fun so its not like I mind. Just recently we went to see 'The Hobbit: War of the 5 kingdoms'. It was amazing. But the really fun part for me besides the movies are the previews. I know it sounds weird but they really are. I like them because whenever there is a really cool or good looking movie that previews I always look to my aunt and we always go: "We're soooo going to see that!" or we nod toward each other in understanding that we'll go see that movie. It's always so fun to go to the movies with my aunt and in he end we'll always have another movie to look forward to. We also like to discuss the movies afterward because often enough we read the books before we see the movies. Lara
I've liked watching movies at the cinema since I was about 4 years old. This isn't my favourite memory of going to the movies but it's defiantly the most memorable. So it was a rainy day and I called my friend to ask him if he wanted to go to the movies. He said yes and my mom dropped us off at Cineplex. We went to the ticket counter and paid for our movie. But before we left she said are one of you thirteen and we both weren't so we had to pick another movie. But that movie was a lot longer than the other one and for some reason I forgot to call my mom to tell her that we were watching a different movie. When my mom came she couldn't find us and then she walked into to the ticket counter and asked the lady if they had seen boys get tickets. The lady answered my mom and she went into the different theatre and found us. She said I gave her the biggest scare of her life. That was the craziest most memorable movie ever. Cameron Hubscher
My favorite movie experience would have to be when I went to go see the One Direction movie in August, 2013. I went with two of my great friends, Nancy and Pauline, along with my sister. All four of us love One Direction, so we thought might as well see the movie together. It was a documentary, so there was no acting involved. It was the first movie One Direction shown in theatres, so I thought it was memorable. It has to be my favorite movie experience because anything that has to do with favorites with me, involves One Direction. (whoops!) Julia Daniele
I don't go to the movies a lot so when I do, I try to make the most of it. There was one time where I just went to see "Alexander and the terrible" with some friends. What made it memorable was the movie theatre recently renovated and made a supercool arcade that we didn't notice until the movie was done. There was a mini bowling lane, a spaceship simulator and best of all... Bumper cars we obviously got to ride them and it was awesome. That was probably my favourite cinema moment because you don't usually find arcade with bumper cars.
My most memorable time at the movie theaters was probably when I saw Mockingjay part 1 with my friends Tristan and George. I was sitting in the middle and when Peeta strangled Katniss I pinched them really hard because that part was really creepy! I practically hid in my sweater for that part. It was definitely really memorable because it is one of my favourite movies and I spilled my M&M’s on the ground so i stole Georges. After the movie we played in the arcade place and it was really funny when we played the motorcycle racing game because you had to move the motorcycle with you but I am too small so George was “helping” me turn but really all we did was crash! After that game we played another car racing game and it was really funny cause even if you drove straight into a tree you would go through it and I also drove through Buddha….oops! For the rest of the night we just made jokes about how they’re never letting me drive! Abby
My most memorable movie I watched at the theatre’s was when I watched "Spiderman 3". I think that was the first movie I ever watched. I was like six years old. Before we watched the movie I went to the arcade and I played Ice hockey and I won. I drove a bumper car for the first time. It was really exciting. The only part I did not like was the fact I can't talk in the movies, because I am use to like talking a lot when I watch a movie at home then suddenly I can't talk. I ate like a whole large bag of popcorn by myself. So that is my most memorable trip to the theatre’s.
I don't go to the movies very often. I'll go once every two months or if there is something that interests me, then I will go. I don't really have a favorite movie memory ( I know, it's sad) but I don't go to the movie theater often so I can't remember my best memory. When I got to the movies, I go with my friends or my family. I have gone several times with my best friend, Nicole (She goes to JRHS). The last movies we saw together was How To Train Your Dragon 2. I know it was a long time ago!!!!! Katrina
I love going to the movies. Popcorn, friends its a great mix. My favorite movie memory was quite recent. I went to see Dumb and Dumber 2 with my family. Dumb and Dumber is my favorite movie. It is hilarious! The jokes are non-stop. I was laughing for almost the whole movie it was so much fun. I was so excited when this movie came I wanted to see it the day it came out. It was one of the best movies that I have ever seen. -Erin
It seems like the two movies were extremely amusing! I should definitely watch them, after reading your blog! Your blog is also making it sound extra comical! It's great that you had an awesome time at the movies with your family, even from simply going to the cinemas! I thought that your blog was amazing! Superbly ASTONISHING!
I have a lot of favorite movie moments because all kinds of things happen to me at the movie theaters. The most recent one was last year in December when I went to go watch The Hobbit:The Battle Of The Five Armies with my friend. She was dying to go and forced me to go along with her because she would pay. After we watched the movie, I turned to my right and saw my friend, who was dying to watch the movie, snoring and drooling all over my shoulder because she was sleeping. Since she is also a heavy sleeper, it took her a good 15 minutes after the movie ended for her to get up.
My best movie experience was when I was 11 and I was about to se guardians of the galaxy on the first day it came out. When I walked in the movie theater it was packed with people some were even wearing costumes. While I was waiting for the movie to start me and my brother went on the bumper cars. Finding our car after the movie was a nightmare there was so many cars overall that was a very fun experience. Daniel Carducci
I have had a lot of good movie experiences, but I’m only going to talk about my favorite one. One day when I was going to the movies with my friends we got there too early, by accident, so we decided to go to the depaneur, which was close by. We got a bunch of candy which we snuck into the movie because you’re only aloud the super expensive food from the theatre. The movie we watched was Grown-Ups 2 because the first one was pretty funny. In the end the movie wasn’t that great but the experience before was on to remember. -Adrian Szekely
My most memorable movie memory would have to be Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. I was maybe Seven when I started watching the star wars franchise and what seven year old doesn't like sword fights with lightsabers. Lightsabers are the coolest weapon ever. Not only was the story and battles awesome but it had Ewoks. Ewoks are these cute teddy bear resembling creatures.
I don’t usually go see movies I mostly wait till I can watch it at home but I have seen a few movies lately like “The Hunger Game Mokingay” witch was very good. The worst movies are horrors, especially the jump scares like in the first Hunger Games I was in the cinema and it went quiet until a dog popped out of nowhere and scared me so much that I true my popcorn everywhere. My dad said that when are basement is finished he will install a mini cinema witch would be amazing.
My favorite movie that I saw in a cinema was probably the hunger games catching fire. I haven't seen the most recent hunger games movie but I liked catching fire better than the first hunger games movie. I liked this movie because there was a lot of genres all mixed together. There was action, adventure, mystery, and even a little bit of comedy at some times. I also found the arena in that movie was really cool with a whole bunch of different challenges they had to overcome. The only part I didn't like was the end, it was such a huge cliffhanger.
The most enjoyable moment of when I was at the movies was when I saw the equalizer featuring Denzel Washington and at the end this weird guy tries to kill the bad guy and then he shoots but he missed and it was denzel Washington who got the guy and instead of being a little afraid I was laughing my head off because the guy is screaming then shoots and thinks he has saved everyone but really did nothing at all.
