One of my good birthday memories was when I was around 8 or 9, and we had this spa thing at my house where we got our nails and toes painted. And then we did games, arts and crafts and had pizza for supper and for dessert we had some cupcakes, and to end the amazing night we watched a little movie.
That sounds like a super fun party, I love painting my nails and going to spas, and I love FOOD so that is like my dream birthday party!!! Great blog:)
One of my WORST birthday memories was when I was 4. I had a birthday party at my house and my parents hired a clown to entertain the guests. Little did they know that I was terrified of clowns (and still am now). Instead of bringing joy to the party, the clown brought screaming and crying. I remember him asking me to stand up and come near him, but I shouted no, and went crying to my mom. It definitely wasn't one of my best birthdays, but that's what made it memorable.
A great birthday memory was when I was eight years old and we had a birthday party at the YMCA. We went swimming and usually the water is like ice cubes but the water was so nice and warm. We went on the slide and we all had a blast. It was my favorite part in the pool. Then after we all went to dry up and eat some cake and open the presents. The cake we got was the best and I would get it every time it was my birthday or my sister’s birthday. I had a great time and I think we all enjoyed ourselves. I remember being so tired the next day. All I wanted to do was sleep. By far, it was one of my favorite birthdays.
For my 7th birthday, all I wanted was a pink Ds. As I was a very persistent kid, I drilled the message into both my parents' heads. The statement was very clear that a DS was my top priority. When the day of my birthday approached, I had invited my whole family over to celebrate. When it was finally time to open up my gifts, my family and I got into a circle and I opened up each present, saving my parents' present till the end! Once there was only my parents' present left to open, when I wasn't looking, my 2 year old cousin decided to open my DS for me! I was slightly disappointed that he opened my present for me, but being a good cousin meant not getting mad at him. Till this day I still bug him about it! Probably the funniest birthday memory yet!!!
My best birthday memory was my twelfth birthday party in August when we went to Isaute. It was awesome, we went there for two hours, playing basketball there and dunking on each other, doing flips and tricks, running around and so on. After that we went back to our house and ate Pizza with chips and candy with soft drinks and had a pool party. we were wrestling and throwing stuff at each other and was so much fun. It was so fun with all of my friends, then after everyone left, I opened all of my gifts ( all of them consisted of gift cards and money). After that I was so tired, played video games for an hour and went to bed. It was my best birthday party ever. Justin Pugsley
Surprisingly, I have a lot of great birthday memories and don’t have any bad ones….well that I can remember. Though my favorite one was when I was in kindergarten. It was a lot of work for my parents but I really appreciated it. In school we were learning about around the world. I was really interested in this subject, so I decided that would be the theme for my birthday party! It was crazy because I literally invited my whole kindergarten class! My mom made cool plane ticket invitations. So it was like my living room was a plane and we would travel to different places. I couldn't remember all the destinations we landed to, but I remember we went to Spain. In Spain, we did relay races and pretended we were bulls running through red capes. We also went to China and had to pick up gummies with chopsticks. It was so hard; I still can’t even use chopsticks now! The most memorable destination was Japan. It was hilarious because my dad but a pillow in his shirt so he looked so big! There we had to try to push him over like we were sumo wrestling. This was the most fun I ever had at a birthday party and I it was for sure the most memorable!
That sounds like so much fun! It seems like everyone totally enjoyed it and had the time of their lives! It's also great how you remember it so well! It's left such a nice impact in your brain since it happened quite awhile ago! Your blog was really good! I loved how much detail and enthusiasm you put into it! I feel like your actually telling me this story in person! I thought that your blog was pretty much, FLAWLESS!
I have had so many great birthday memories. Although I can't remember any bad ones.... Most of my birthdays are good because my birthday is in the summer. Every birthday of mine i do the same thing (which for some reason never gets "boring"). That "thing" is stay at home for an entire day, and stay in the backyard, go swimming, and have a nice family dinner after. When I was about 4 turning 5 I didn't know that it was my birthday that day. It was around 8:00 in the morning and my older sister (Emilie) approached me and told me it was my birthday, at first I don't think i believed her, but after 10 minutes straight of her trying to tell me i finally believed her. All of my other birthdays are the same. Although I like having a simple birthday. So over all, all of my birthdays so far are good ones. -Sophie
My most MEMORABLE/most awesome birthday party was probably when I was in grade 2! It was during lunch when it happened since my birthday was on a school day and the teacher couldn't of just cut class time for it so we arranged it to happen during our eating time. My aunt and parents decided to make it extremely epic for me by preparing sushi and ordering pizza for my class and I! It was super fun and I wish it could of happened AGAIN when I was in elementary school! But unfortunately, I'm in high school now, so we can't. However, it was still really whimsical since everyone enjoyed it and everybody thought it was MAGICAL! To this day, I still enjoy thinking about it since it was THAT memorable and it makes me feel happy! The only exception to why it wasn't perfect was for the fact that since their were two grade 2 classes and I only did it for my class, the other class still pestered me to do one for theres when we were younger. But it doesn't really matter since they had fun times too. That was probably my best birthday party that I’ve ever had!
First of all HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY MR.KATZ!! The best birthday memory I have is when I went to Jungle adventures (at least that is what I think it is called). I was in preschool and it was December 28th I did not even known it was my birthday. Anyways I woke up all excited to go to preschool but my parents did not let me go they said it was a ped –day, today. Then I was tricked in believing that we were going to the Ronald Park in McDonalds (I use to love that place, if you bring me there I would never come out) and then I was brought to a different place. Then there I saw a few of my friends and my cousins there and I got really excited. Then it was so cool that place it had like a huge indoor park with like each sections a different activity. They literally had all the amazing and fun things like Tarzan rope, a ball pool or whatever a six years old would consider amazing. Then at the end I went to McDonalds and got a Happy-meal and played at the Ronald’s Park. It was the best birthday.
I haven't had a birthday party since I was five and I can't remember that birthday party. For the past few years I've been going over to my grandparents house. My would always cook me whatever I wanted since it was my birthday. If I wasn't at my grandparents, I was on the road driving to a hockey tournament. I remember once on my birthday we were on the road at 7:00. At 8:04 (the time when I was born) my family started singing happy birthday and gave me a cupcake. That was probably one of my best birthday memories.
My worst birthday ever was when I was eight years old and I had a soccer party at Catologna. We played soccer all afternoon. I was having a blast but then my parents said it was time to open the piniata (which was a soccer ball of course). Then we ate. We had pizza, chips, candy from the piniata and last but not least the cake. To match with the theme it was a soccer ball. It was black and white like a regular soccer ball. I was eating the cake and I really didn't like the black icing. It tasted bad and my stomach was starting to hurt. I told my mom and she brought me to the bathroom and as soon as I walked in I started puking all over the bathroom floor. It was the worst birthday ever and I've never had black icing again. Someone’s birthday can get crazy. Like when I was 3 years old my mom made 3 cakes! But in this blog I’m going to talk about my worst birthday party. When I was 4, I was trying to plan an amazing party. It was going to be like a construction site whit games and an actual construction truck. Oviosly that’s pretty hard to do so my parents brought in a bouncy castle, which is totally awesome, but I was expecting much more. At the end of it was crying, I was overreacting but I still remember it as the worst birthday party ever.
I favorite birthday memory was on my 7th birthday party. My mom had an idea to make the party upside down theme. My friends all came in their shirts the wrong way! We sang the happy birthday song backwards, and all the decorations were put the wrong way as well. The best part is that we even ate under the table! It was by far the coolest themed birthday party I can remember. Julia Daniele
My favorite birthday was my 11th birthday. I didn't have anything planned but my mom sure did! My mom was a little bit late picking me up from school so I assumed something was going on. When I got home, i went to my room to do my homework when some of my closest friends jumped out from under my bed! I was scared to death! After, we spent the whole afternoon together and I had a great time! I will always remember the look on my face when they surprised me! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR KATZ
My worst birthday was about a year and a half ago when I turned 12. This birthday wasn't horrible, but I didn't really like it. First I had school (not bad), my friends wished me a happy birthday. Then I had a math test which isn't that considering that I like math, but I've had a math test on my birthday since grade 4! After school, I had to go to the senior's home (last year I volunteered), we were there from 3:00 to about 4:15. Then, I came home put my stuff away, had dinner, that was about an hour and a half long at my house. After dinner we had to come to the open house here at St-Thomas, it was kind of fun. By the time I got home it was like 8:00 and I was SO tired, I watched some TV and then went to bed.
My best birthday was my 13th birthday on December 27th because it was the first time I took my friends out to a restaurant to eat. My friends and I went to Madison's Bar and Grill and we ate ribs, which tasted delicious. After that, I called my dad and the people in the restaurant brought the cake which was my favorite, Strawberry Shortcake. Since the restaurant is so close to the movie theater, we went out shopping and bought the weirdest things and tried on the most tackiest outfits in the store. The only embarrassing part was when I saw my dad in one of the stores and my friend had turned on the alarm. My dad saw it and I just left right away. Overall, it was good birthday, but it was not my best because my best one was one I can't explain in words.
My best birthday was my 10th. It was my first sleepover and it was really exciting. Everyone that I invited was able to come. We stayed up chatting and laughing almost the entire night. The next morning our basement was a huge disaster! My worst birthday was when I turned 12 years old. Only three people showed up. Everyone was on vacation (since it was summer). One of my friends was so quiet, even more quiet than me! I didn't know how to entertain my guests. Every time I asked them what they wanted to do my friend just shrugged her shoulders. It was kind of boring. But I am still grateful that she came. -Erin
My worst birthday would have to be 10th birthday last year. I celebrated with family first as always and then I played Call Of Duty until 10 with my friends then they get off and go to bed. From that point that's when it started going down hill. I stayed up all night drinking coke, getting the strongest sugar rush ever, damaging my eyes, blistering my thumbs and getting the worst head ache of my life. I stayed up all the way to 6 am playing. But during those 10 hours it was filled with a lot of yelling and excessive swearing through the mic and when I was walking in a dark hallway I stubbed my toe and tried so hard not to yell and wake anyone up. When I woke up at 7 am(1 hour of sleep) my coke had spilled, my Xbox was burning up to the point that it was a fire hazard and I fell asleep with my controller underneath my back so my spine felt super awkward. It's what I think a hangover feels like minus the booze and the vague memory of what ever horrible thing you did last night.
My best birthday memory was this year, my 13th birthday. For my birthday me and one of my closest friend, Jade spent the whole day together at the barn and riding! At first in the morning I had a private lesson with my horse Allegro and Jade took a bunch of pictures of us! After that we had a semi-private together and it was really fun! After that my coach, her mom, Jade and me all went to pick up her new horse Legend! He is sooooo cute!!! Later on after the barn we went to one of my favourite places for dinner, ginger. It’s an Asian restaurant and it’s the best!! After dinner we went back to her house and they surprised me with a cake and birthday present! The cake was super yummy and I love the gift she got me! After cake and the gift we watched Final Destination 3 and it was really fun. The next day we rode again and it was the best birthday I’ve ever had! Abby
I have had so many good birthday memories, but I’m going to talk about a bad one. For my sixth birthday party my mom invited my family at the same time that as my friends. That was definitely a weird day because I wanted to play with my friends, but my family was their too so It was a little bit uncomfortable. I will also talk a bit about a good birthday memory, to end on a happy note. On my seventh birthday my grandpa gave me street hockey goalie pads. In hockey I am a player, but during street hockey we always need a goalie. Right after I opened them I went straight to play with it, it was so much fun. Birthdays are always one of the best times of the year, with good memories and the bad ones. -Adrian Szekely
My best birthday was when I was 4. This was my favorite memory because I celebrated my birthday 3 times, One with my friends, one with my moms family and my dads family. So I got to eat 3 gigantic cakes. It was also my favorite birthday memory because that was the year I got my first iPod. This was definitely one of my best birthdays. Then my friends and I played videogames and soccer all day. It was the best birthday ever ! Daniel Carducci
My best birthday was when I was four and had my friends come to this gym place like skytag and just have fun. It is really the only birthday party I ever had because I had one inn grade 3 and everyone was crazy but it was fun my party because as a kid you just want to play. My birthdays now are like I wake up at 5 and wait for my bro to get up and then I open them and then it is just a regular day. Although last year I got my iPhone 5s I was super happy but my brother went to bed late so I had to wait for him and I was going to destroy him in his sleep. Matt Colpron
I remember for my eighth birthday I had a blue cake. That cake was later smudged all over my face when I was being fed. . I got really mad and I started to cry. Later on, I noticed it was not that big of a deal. After the party when I washed my face I cleaned my ears and I noticed I had gotten cake in my ears. That same day I took off my earrings and they were blue too. Since then, every birthday party I have I am scared that I will get cake in my face. In conclusion, my eighth birthday was a very special birthday.
I've always had some good birthday memories. It's always my family party first then my friend party. Some of ym fondest memories was when my Baka and Dido came over with a super delicious ,usually always, homemade cake. It usually has some sort of heart on it because I'm born on February 14. But my favorite B-day memory was last years. I turned 12 and decided that I didn't really need to celebrate with other people besides my family so I Didn't have another party. The months went by and I really didn't expect to have a party. But in June just before the end of school I was given the best gift I ever gotten. It was raining and my sister, my mom and I were invited to go over to my friends house to go swimming. So we got read and we left. My sister said that for some reason My friends mom put a bunch of boxes in the front entrance so we had to go by the back. As I pass by the window hat looks into the dinning room I see the face of one of my sisters friends. I thought I just imagined it. I got in and saw the legs of another person under the table and suddenly a bunch of my friends and a few of my sisters friends jumped up at me and yelled happy birthday. I was so surprised and happy that I was speechless. We had so much fun and it was the best birthday or belated birthday ever. Lara
One of my good birthday memories was when I was around 8 or 9, and we had this spa thing at my house where we got our nails and toes painted. And then we did games, arts and crafts and had pizza for supper and for dessert we had some cupcakes, and to end the amazing night we watched a little movie.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a super fun party, I love painting my nails and going to spas, and I love FOOD so that is like my dream birthday party!!! Great blog:)

ReplyDeleteI would be afraid of the clown too. Those clowns can be scary. Great Blog.

I got a pink dsi for 8th or 9th birthday. Good blog!! I guess your cousin was more eager than you to know what was in it.
DeleteMy best birthday memory was my twelfth birthday party in August when we went to Isaute. Birthdays are always one of the best times of the year, with good memories and the bad ones.

ReplyDeleteI've always had some good birthday memories.
