  1. 2014 was a great it was different just like every other year. It had its ups and downs and had its fun times, but overall I think 2015 is going to be the best year out of all of them so far in 2015, the thing that I am looking most forward to, is just new things, to try new things, and to do new things.

    1. I agree! During a new year, we should all try new things and do things that are out of your comfort zone. Maybe by trying something new, you will experience something that you really enjoy doing!!Great blog:)))

  2. 2014 was a pretty good year for me, entering high school, graduating elementary school, getting better at hockey etc. There were great moments and bad moments, great moments such as when school ended so I wouldn't have to go back to my elementary school ever again (I might revisit my school but it doesn't matter), bad moments such as getting a few bad test marks or family issues. Other than all that activity in 2014, I have a good feeling about this year, I'm definitely looking forward to my 13th birthday so I don't need to worry about people carding me (mostly at the movie theater), I'm looking forward to my hockey tournament in Plattsburgh this year (actually in early February :D). There's definitely a lot of stuff I'm looking forward to in 2015.

  3. I’m sad 2014 came to end. It wa such a great year and so many amazing things happened! It was also an important one, since I graduated from elementary school and started my first year in high school. 2014 was a great year but I will have to move on. Now I’ll have to remember writing 2015 on assignments and projects. It will be hard but I’ll get used to it. For the new year I’m looking forward to having fun. Also to try and not think of stuff to much and just enjoy the moments! Though like every year I still had my ups and downs and I hope I can improve on all the bad things that happened. So that this year it will be one of the best years ever! I can’t wait to see what great things 2015 will bring!!!

  4. A lot has occurred over the year of 2014. I don't expect a year to be perfect, and there have been some sad events in this year, but over all 2014 has been a great year for me! I've met so many great people and experienced so many new things. Also, I've changed a lot! My personality has changed and I have grown to be more mature as an individual. In my opinion, I don't like setting major goals for the new year, rather I like setting smaller goals throughout the year. I'm very glad that I can start a new year off fresh and create new memories in 2015!

  5. For me, 2014 was a great year. It was full of laughter, happiness and joy but there was definitely some hard times, but that's what made the year exciting! I can't wait to see what 2015 will bring to us, I'm really looking forward to meeting new people and new teachers! One of my new years resolutions is to have better writing and to keep my school papers organized, so I'm also looking forward to seeing how long I keep this new years resolutions. Overall, I'm so thankful that my family and friends were here with me to experience this great year and I'm really looking forward to 2015.

  6. 2014 has been like any other year for me. I had fun times, sad times, hard times and happy moments too! I have tried different things and I think 2014 has been an exciting year, like all years. Overall, I think that this year has been an awesome year. I experienced new things that I would have never thought of doing. This year I want to try and be more organized. Last year I was always forgetting things because I was so disorganized. I want to become a better student, meaning organize my homework make sure I do everything properly. I don't want to be stressing about tests and little things. I hope that this year is as exciting as my past years.

    1. That is so true! 2014 does seem like any other year, but indeed, a BIT more special! Organizing is so important and last year, I was a TOTAL mess too! I bet you'll do AMAZING this year also since last year you were just as AWESOME! Your blog is just so FABULOUS! I can (literally) agree with EVERYTHING you wrote there!

    2. Ya I can relate to the organization part because I was also a scatterbrain in the beginning of the year. Great blog :)

I'm looking forward to another year at school, getting older, hanging out with friends and family and enjoying all my hobbies. I hope this year will bring out the best for everyone. Good bye 2014! 8. For me 2014 was a pretty crazy year. A lot of stuff happened. I graduated elementary school, making into high-school. There was some funny, sad, happy, exciting, mad moments in 2014, but it will all get better. This year I am more than I was in 2014. I'm going to make better decisions now, I'm learning from my mistakes. In 2015 I'm looking forward to summer. We're almost half way through the school year. I can't believe it. I'm also looking forward to my birthday. I'm turning 13, a teenager!!! That a big step in life. Anyway, I can't predict what's going to happen in 2015, so I guess I'm just going to have to live though it.

  9. I can’t believe 2014 is already over! It passed by so fast just like a gust of wind! But, some years past by faster (or slower) depending on what you think. I (personally) thought that it was a pretty OKAY year. I think I could of’ve done better (since I didn’t always try my best). So hopefully this year I’ll reach my full potential! I really want to try my best and do things that I wouldn’t really do (like raise my hand). Participation is really really really important, like what my elementary school teachers explained. Certainly, 2014 could of’ve been better for me if I actually did some crazy things! But, maybe that’s what’s going to happen this year! I really don’t think so though (if I’m going to be honest). To describe 2014 in one word, would be quite difficult since so many different things happened! But I’ve thought of a pretty good one! EXHAUSTING. It was also difficult but mostly tiring. Now, let’s move onto the things I am most looking forward to for 2015! Probably, just PROJECTS! I love love love love projects!!!! Getting the opportunity to show off your creative side is a chance everyone should take! Yep, they are definitely time consuming but it’s all worth it once you know your teacher enjoyed it! I am so hoping that this year will be a year to remember, just like 2014!

  10. 2014 was an amazing year for me! It had it's good things and it's bad things. A lot of major things have happened to me last year. Firstly, I guess I could finally say that I survived half of my first high school year and my first mid-terms. I also discovered many things that kind of helped me. I learned how to properly care for hamsters which was a pretty big deal to me and it really changed my hamsters lives. Next, I discovered my favorite band 5 Seconds of Summer! I know some people will be like "Give me a break" but it was great to find them because they are just so awesome. Now I will fast forward to Christmas where I received the best gifts of my life! I got some adorable little guinea pigs on new years eve so that would still be considered 2014! They are named Hazel and Misty and they are currently 4 weeks old. I also received tickets to the sold out 5 Seconds of Summer concert in Toronto on August 25th! I was so excited!!! As for the bad things, the main thing would have to be the passing of my beloved hamsters on November 7th an on November 29th. I miss them terribly but I know that they are still in my heart. I know there were other this that I didn't enjoy that happened to me but I can't name them all off the top of my head. Over all, 2014 was an amazing year for me and I can't wait for what life has to throw at me in the new year... BRING ON 2015!!!

Loved your starter sentence and ending sentence since they were so creative! Definitely capturing my attention! Judging from your perspective of 2014, I'm sure that 2015 will be even greater for you!!!! I LOVED your blog!

  11. For me 2014 wasn't a bad year. It was actually good. It was't that interesting but it was good. In the summer i probably had the best summer ever!! My family and I all went to Hawaii as a vacation, 3 days after school finished, and stayed there for 3 weeks. We had so much fun!! We visited 4 different islands, Oahu, Kauai, Maui, and the big island of Hawaii. We did so many things, like fly in a mini 6 person airplane over the island of Kauai, I went snorkeling almost every day that I was on the island of Maui, I went surfing at the famous beach Waikiki on the island of Oahu, at night I went star gazing on the top of one of the dormant volcanoes on the island of Hawaii and even saw Saturn's ring through a specialized telescope,... In October it was probably the Halloween that we got the most candy EVER!! 2 days before Christmas i went skiing on Mont Tremblant. On Christmas day it was awesome because our grandparents gave us candy for Christmas and our family has a rule on Christmas that we can eat candy whenever we want as long as it doesn't spoil our Christmas dinner. Over all 2014 was a great year. I am so exited to start 2015!!

  12. For me 2014 was a year overall. It was up and down all the time which made it a very interesting year as well. There were great moments like graduating elementary school. starting high school and meeting a bunch of new kids and teachers. But at other times like saying goodbye to all of my elementary friends (because nobody came to St Thomas with me). What I am looking forward to is a continuing my great first year at St Thomas and I also want to try new things like new foods, try a new sport or even read a new book series. Another thing is I also want to go out of my comfort zone that also relates to doing new things. I'm really excited to start 2015!

  13. Last year was a great year for me. It was an awesome year full of joy and happiness. I had some ups and downs in 2014. It was a great year because I was graduating from elementary school. I was sad because my friends and I were going our separate ways. It was also an amazing year because we went to Florida and enjoyed our time. I am looking forward to 2015 because I want to meet new teachers and students. One thing I need to fix is, I need to put less pressure on myself and stop stressing. So far 2015 is looking like a good year and I can’t wait for the future.

  14. 2014 went by so fast. I remember my English teacher from sixth grade say that 2013 went by super fast, when it was the new year, and now it's already 2015. Last year was a great year because it was a year that I really got out of my comfort zone and stopped being that shy, awkward girl who was always quiet. It is also the year I made many new friends and got more confident in myself. I'm actually really sad that 2014 is over, but I am really looking forward to 2015 and getting to try new things again. I normally do not really make new year resolutions anymore(mainly because I never followed them) because I honestly do not feel the need to change myself just for the new year because I can do that anytime in the year.

2014 felt like an eternity but at the same time it was so fast. This means I was bored out of my mind at times and at other times I was having tons fun. This was between finishing sixth grade, graduating, summer and the terrifying time of term 1. In 2015 I look forward to what surprises it will bring me (good surprises I hope).

  16. 2014 was one of the best years of my life. The hardest part was graduating elementary school. Most of those people I will not see for a very long time some of them came to St-Thomas whit me but most of my life long friends left for a different school. I also can’t believe how many sporting events there were in 2014, the Olympiques, the Fifa world cup and so many more! The problem is that we will not have a lot of events in 2015. 2015 is the year the characters in the movie “Back to the Future” time travel to so maybe we will see hovering skateboards and flying cars.

  17. For me 2014 was a year to remember so many things happened but not all where good. This year I plan on making the better choices, because if one thing goes wrong your life can change. I am quite happy of how the friend situation worked out because I was a little afraid of what would happen. I will try and focus more because lately I haven't really been caring about anything. I just cant believe it is already 2015 it feels like yesterday that it was 2002 but things go fast while you have fun. The only way I can have fun is if I work hard and I intend to do that. Those are my intentions for 2015.

2014 was just an awesome year, I can't think of any word to describe it. I went on my grad trip, I GRADUATED from my elementary school, I started high school, I met new friends and so many other things. Hopefully 2015 will be a year full of fun, happiness, awesomeness and miracles. Now that I think about it a lot of things happened in 2014. Bradgelina got married (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie), the Winter Olympics in Sochi, what else happened? CANADA ALREADY WON GOLD MEDAL (2015) AT THE WORLD JUNIORS! I know, awesome right! In 2015, I will try to get better marks and study. What are your goals for 2015?

  19. 2014 was the second most important year for me so far. I had my graduation, made new friends and entered high school. Another reason was because in June we had the biggest party my family did for me. It brought joy and pain, now we have to move on to 2015 and see what new aspects comes. I am looking forward to doing more fun things and making more good friends. My summer is usually boring, all I do is homework and go and work at my dad's store. Hence, I look forward to making a lot of money when working and doing some actual fun things. In conclusion, I hope 2015 brings on a positive change in all of our lives.

  20. 2014 was an interesting year for me. It wasn’t an extraordinary year like 2013 was for me, but it was fun in it’s own ways. I visited places I’ve never been before like Old Orchard Beach, and I even got the chance to climb Mount Washington. It was thrilling! I think 2015 will be awesome. I really love listening to new music, and i’ve heard that a lot of my favorite bands are coming out with new items. I’m especially excited because I will be going to two concerts in 2015. One is Taylor Swift which I’m happy to be going too, and the other one is One Direction (obviously I’m going!) I’m also looking forward to keeping my new years resolution to plan. I never seem to be able to do so. I cannot wait for the rest of the year to follow, as just seven days in, it’s been great.

  21. 2014 was an interesting year for me. It was good in some parts but absolutely HORRIBLE in others! Pretty much the only good things that happened this year were the summer, but even then some parts sucked! I guess ill start with bad things about summer and move onto the good after. So the only thing that really sucked about my summer was that my best friend barely hung out with me and we live at the same place in the summer!! She was too busy with our( mainly hers) friend to even call me and invite me over! I invited her over once in the morning and at the last second she bailed on me and went with our other friend  anyways it wasn’t too horrible and for the good part, I rode pretty much everyday and most of the time 4 hours a day! That was probably the best! My favourite part of my whole summer was my bond that kept growing with Allegro! We’ve gotten very close now and it keeps getting stronger. My coach keeps telling me she has potential and I know she does! Especially after our results at our first show!!!!! Right now our lessons aren’t going very smoothly because I can only go out to see her once a week at the moment. WHICH REALLY SUCKS!! Especially since she needs to be ridden multiple times a week which I will be starting again soon! I cant wait for the summer cause I know it will be the best one yet! Pretty much the rest of the year wasn’t super great but oh well this one will be better… I know it!!

  22. Last year was the year I kind of got used to high school. This year I was a little nervous of all the test and the mid terms exams but I had a good year overall. During this year I was excited I was starting high school and graduated from elementary. This year I had so much fun with all the holidays. I also liked this year because of all the big sport events like the world cup. This year my whole education changed now I am in high school. I also had one of the best summers ever this year I got to play soccer with my old friends from elementary. I am so excited for 2015.

  23. For me 2014 was a pretty good year. So many things happened, such as graduating grade six, my confirmation and the great start to high school. When I graduated from elementary school I was so happy to be done, but I knew I was going to miss my friends and now I do. What I am looking forward to the most this year is skiing on the slopes of Mont-Tremblant. I will be going there during spring break with a bunch of other families, I can’t wait. I hope that everyone will have a great year.

  24. The biggest event in 2014 was I graduated elementary. I learned a lot in 2014.Like if someone is annoying instead of screaming at them trying to make them change(which will be impossible)tell them once if they don't listen then, save your breath and energy for something more important. I had the best summer vacations in 2014 which I will never forget. In 2015 I am excited for the summer vacations. I would like to try to control my anger more. I hope 2015 will be an amazing year.
