Tell me about something you have been tempted to want, but were not allowed to touch. Explain.

  1. When I went to the Selena Gomez concert around a here ago, I had gotten front row seats! I was super excited that I would be able to touch Selena Gomez' hand! When I arrived, there were a whole bunch of tall security guards surrounding the stage. I thought to myself, If I don't touch her hand now, I might not ever be able to have an opportunity like that again. So when the guard wasn't looking, I pushed through the crowds of people surrounding Selena and I touched her hand without the security guard even noticing!!!!!

  2. For me my biggest temptation would be when I can’t eat food that is being prepared to go on the table. Whenever my mom or my grandparents cook food, I’m always the one to try to take it and eat it all but they always push me away when I’m in the moment to devour EVERYTHING! Especially when it just comes out of the oven and it looks so good, and you just really don’t want to share.

  3. My biggest temptation is eating junk food the minute I get home from school. We all know that feeling when we want to eat our whole fridge and our neighbour's whole fridge. I get that feeling a lot, especially when I come home from school. I usually have a debate on whether I should eat a healthy snack or an unhealthy snack... I usually end up choosing the unhealthy snack because of my temptation. I think it's fine to eat an unhealthy snack once in a while, but definitely not every day!

    1. Haha I love eating junk food too! I literally eat one everyday (or two)! I know I'm gonna be fat when I'm older....but at least my stomach's happy. :)

  4. I can’t really think of anything I’m really tempted to touch. Though it really bugs me because I know there’s something I just can’t think of it at the moment! Something I do know, is that I like to touch things that people don’t want me to touch (you can just call me a mini rebel). It’s probably really annoying for my brother to have me as a sister. That’s because I literally touch everything of his that he would prefer me not to touch! For example, I used to sneak and try to take his phone and figure out his code, I would also touch his video games and so much more other things I would do that he would hate! You might find me weird, but isn’t it so tempting to touch things that people really don’t want you to touch? Anyways I really think so.

  5. Once when I was about three, I was tempted to touch a freshly made cup of tea that was made for me. I wondered if I was aloud to drink it about five minutes after it was made and I ended up spilling it on myself and burning myself pretty badly. So I have been tempted, and wondered but it had a consequence I didn't hope for. I just hope something like that won't happen again. But life is full of temptations and wonders you just have to hope to find the good ones.

  6. Well, at my house our bathroom is being rebuilt so it has been under renovations for 3 months now (I know that's a lot) and my dad isn't finished yet. On the awesome door (its a door that slides) there is tape on the handle because he hasn't finished painting it yet. I probably bother him so much because I ask him if I can take off the tape at least twice a day. I am still to this day so tempted to take that tape off.

  7. Something that I am tempted to want but I can't touch would have to be my Christmas gifts! My mom recently came home from the store and when I asked her what she got, she said nothing, but she had a bag! I asked her what it was and she said it was my Christmas gift! I was so tempted to touch and find out what she got me but I guess I’ll just have to wait another 3 weeks!

  8. Something that I am always tempted tot touch but shouldn't would have to be my brother's phone. I'm always so tempted but I know that he will certainly get so mad at me. I guess I want to find out what's on a fifteen year old's phone and find out who my brother is texting. I just really feel tempted but he also has a pass word that I'm always trying and getting it wrong. I think it would be fun to one day make it onto his phone and find out all of his secrets....... mwahahahahahahahaha!

  9. Something that I wanted to touch, but wasn't allowed were plug points(sockets). When I was little, I always wanted to take out anything that was being charged and throw it away. After that, I used to want to touch the sockets. When my parents found out, they told me I wasn't allowed to touch it and I became very upset. As I got older, I soon understood why my parents hid it from me, and I am glad they did because I could have gotten seriously injured if it wasn't for them.

  10. Something that I've always wanted to touch, but was not allowed to was a fire alarm. I see them everywhere in the school. I know if I did pull one I would be in BIG trouble. I saw a lot of them at my elementary school. I would always get kicked out of music class and where I sat, there was one right next to me. For the time I was out of class, I would just daydream of what would happen if I pulled one. Maybe if I do pull one it won't be a fire alarm. It will be one that gives me a bunch of money. Hey, you never know.

    1. I get tempted at that to, but I don't do it because I would get in huge trouble, and I'm scared to pull the fire alarm, even though I'm tempted to pull it.

  11. When my dad goes grocery shopping the minute he gets home I always check what he bought. I am always tempted to eat whatever he buys. When my dad introduced a new type of fruit, it looked like a mini cactus. It was really small. It was so tempting to eat the fruit but I didn’t know how to eat it. I was going to grab it when my mom stopped me and said it was prickly and not to touch it. I was so tempted to touch the cactus pear but if I touched it, I would’ve been in pain. When my mom was peeling the cactus pear, she had to use gloves so she wouldn’t get needles on her fingers. Ever since I always check to make sure the fruit isn’t prickly.

    1. I know what you mean! I always want to raid our grocery bag once it enters the house! The temptation is too much to handle! The new fruit your dad introduced sounds pretty cool! When I first read this I thought it was called durian however the fruit your talking about is tiny! Durian is sooooo big and it's prickly like your description! I wonder what it's called! Your last sentence was too good! Checking if fruits aren't prickly should be my number one task from now on! I honestly thought your blog was flawless! The detailing and effort you put into this was just AMAZING! I loved your blog!!!!

  12. Whenever my birthday is coming up I am tempted to look at what my mom bought me. I know that she hides all my gifts in her closet because whenever I go near it she always says "Don't go in there!" I am always so tempted to look inside and see what I got. But whenever I am home alone and I go into my mom's room, I never open the closet door because I like suprises and even though I really want to find out what I got I just can't. It takes out all the fun. If my mom found out that I saw my presents before my actual birthday she would be really mad. I probably wouldn't even get my gifts. And it is more fun to open them and be suprised on your birthday.

  13. The most tempting things to touch around this time of year are holiday treats. Those delicious looking ginger bread men fresh from the oven and you tell me I can’t touch them! It’s torcher! I always tell my mom to wait before baking the goodies but she makes them anyways. My siblings and I always find ways to steal the treat like thief. The worst is the ginger bread house. I’m doing my homework and right in front of me is one of the most delicious holiday treat. But the best time is after Christmas when you devour any holiday food in your path. But you can’t always stop the temptation, like right now; I’m sucking on a “forbidden” candy cane…

  14. I am always tempted to touch glass things at the store and everything fragile. If I see something in glass such as plates, I get the temptation to break it. It is soo beautiful and I can not handle it. My mother always tells me to not touch anything at the store because I night break it. That is why I am so tempted to touch things in glass. Once, when I was in about 1st-2nd grade, my family and I went to a restaurant. When I was there, I was biting so hard on their glass cup while drinking, that it broke! I had some in my mouth but most of it was on the table. I was so "proud" and guilty that I broke a cup. Then my father rushed me to their bathroom and made me wash my mouth several times. The my parents made me eat a banana so that I would feel better. I always think back at that situation and laugh when I am at restaurants. The same concept for fragile things, I am so entertained when water balloons blast and when eggs break. I find it hilarious to see something break, especially an egg. It is fun to see a perfectly oval, white thing, shatter to pieces and reveal a yellow substance from inside! In conclusion, I love to break fragile things.

Everyday I ask my mom what's for dinner and she always responds saying "you'll find out soon" and I am so temped to look in the oven or pot to see what it is. The problem is I am not allowed to touch the food and even if I take off the lid of the pot I'll end up burning myself from the heat (I'll laugh at myself). Or when she's making the food off the stove I'll always have the temptation to put my finger in it and try it. But then she'll slap my hand in a funny way and tell me to stop it. So the point is I'm not allowed to try the food before dinner and I'll always laugh at my attempt to try.

    1. WOW Vanessa!! But I have the same temptation. The funny part is my mom says the exact same thing wait you will see but then I will say I want to know if it is good the she will say no matter what you will have to eat it .Then we will end up arguing about this for the next 15 minutes. Anyways, I loved your blog by the way!!

  17. Something I was always tempted to touch is the Christmas gifts the morning of Christmas when everyone is asleep and not around. I hate it because you want to open all of your presents but you know your not allowed tot touch them. Even if I don't touch them and my parents and brother wake up you always have to wait until my dad gets the video camera and camera to take pictures and videos. Then after about twenty minutes my parents let us savagely open are presents.

  18. Cooking!!!! I've always wanted to attempt to cook and cut things with a knife. But you should remember to never give me a knife! You have no clue what I could do with it ... I've always wanted to try to cut fruits and use an oven or even use a microwave. However that didn't really work out so well ... I've just always wanted to use a knife to chop stuff but I was never ever allowed. EVER. I've probably only used a knife five times. Anyway, the only reason I have this temptation is since the only cooking that I've ever done is baking. Producing sweets is pretty cool but cooking the main courses would be even more awesome. Also, because I like to watch cooking competitions like master chef junior! With the kids our age or even younger cooking meals that are like how my grandma cooks. It’s very impressive since I don't even know how to do any of those things! Continuing on, my aunt never wants to let me cook or do any of that adult stuff until it's necessary, like if no one in my family is available to cook. But, whatever, I don't really mind since this temptation has been going on for the longest time. Basically, my temptation is the need for a cooking utility (knife or something) and I’m not allowed to use them in case I cut myself or chop off one of my fingers … Anything can happen when your cooking!

  19. There are a lot of situations where I literally have no self-control because I am so tempted to do something. One example for this would be is now is winter and whenever it snows it is all white and beautiful and then people step in it and make it ugly. So whenever I see a fresh patch of snow I cannot control my eager to walk through and be the first one to step on it. I don't know why. I guess I just feel special. (I don't know). I would be going to school 20 minutes late while I am walking I would see a fresh patch of snow I would make a detour ,take the longer way to school just to walk through the snow. Anyways I have many strange temptations like this. I guess it is because I love the season winter I am not sure. Am I the only one with this “habit” I don’t know, please tell me?!?!

  20. I think my temptation would be to eat all the chocolates in my advent calendar all at the same time, rather then waiting and having one every day. This year so far I haven't had such good control over my advent calendar. They are Lindt chocolates. This year I have already ate some that I shouldn't have. It's just the worst because it's all right there in front of you, and you have to wait 25 days! think of it, how torturous is that. Basically it would be like you had a delicious lollipop, and you could only get 1 lick every day.I find it is a really good idea, but sometimes, I just can't hold back and I take my chocolate for my next day. Another thing that sucks if you eat 2 chocolates one day, is that another day, most likely the day after, you won't get a chocolate.

  21. When I was little I was tempted to touch the scorching hot stove which my mom told me not to. I was about two at the time so I was curious about the oven. So I went out to touch it. My fingers were a couple of centimeters away and I already felt the heat. Then when my mom entered the room she saw me about to touch the oven she was terrified she ran as fast as she can to grab me away from it . Luckily if I actually touched I would of hurt luckily I didn't. I was extremely tempted to touch the oven even when I was not supposed to luckily I did not.

  22. One thing that I’ve been super tempted to touch was probably a 3000$ saddle a tack shop. Sometimes if I don’t need to get anything I just go into the stores to look at all their gorgeous saddles but this one was by far the nicest one I have ever seen. I can’t exactly remember the brand but I do know it was a stunning brown leather saddle and that if I had a enough money I would totally buy it! I hope I can go back to the store soon just to look at it and this time get a few things!!

  23. Something that I wanted but wasn't allowed to touch was my iPhone 5s. My birthday is May 3rd and I got my phone on April 19th. But the sad part was that I couldn't use it for two weeks and that got me very frusterated so I thought and decided that let's say if I found it then I would play on it they would know so I decided to wait and finally got it. Usually I get nuts because I want to find something because I want to use it and if my parents find out I just lose it for an additional day or week so I just wait usally so I don't have to pay a penalty.Matt Colpron

  24. Something that was really tempting to touch was when my sister made cookies to bring in for some project or whatever it was for school. She would always leave them on the counter right in the open. I would always spend a good 25 minutes looking at them holding my hands back forcing myself not to eat them. I would tell myself "Do not eat the cookies, consequences will come and they will be bad". It was just the worst thing ever like seriously. Imagine, having 200$ left on the counter for someone else, it would be just so hard to resist it. Oh ya, this would happen every time someone would bake something.
