Your ONE BLOG topic this week is FREE CHOICE! You could blog about whatever it is you want, except what you've already blogged about! You could go on a rant or you could simply blog about something important to you. Please do not blog about blogs!
I highly recommend that you go OUTSIDE the BOX! Be creative and write about something you feel important or something you would like to tell your audience.
You must remember your audience. It is not simply me (Mr. Katz) reading this blog!
If you will be ranting about a certain individual, you need to leave their name out of this. You could give them a pseudonym or simply leave their name as anonymous.
Make sure your language is appropriate. Do not go on swearing tangents.
Christmas is coming in exactly 31 days! Or 30 if you celebrate and open the presents on the 24th! To start off, tell me. Who isn't excited about Christmas? 'Cause I am! Anyway, I just can't wait! Each year back in elementary school, we would have a holiday gift shop! Where during the school day we would visit our library and buy gifts for our family! Though, my brother has decided that this year, we would buy actual presents for our family members. Like ones you can buy from the store. Continuing on, I'm feeling just so happy about how soon it's arriving! Setting up decorations and bringing in the joy of giving! I just wish that my birthday would be in December since snow is my favourite thing ever! Also adding along, during Christmas my family and I rejoin our other family members in Toronto. The travel there is sickening since I get car sick but it's all worth it in the end when we are with each other. Even if we get a ton of gifts they aren't the best thing, being with our family is. It’s also fun since new years is right after! Which brings me to another topic! We always stay up and turn the TV on for the countdown! Eating junk food and trying to stay awake takes effort but we always make it through. As you can see, I love love love and adore Christmas to an extent you wouldn’t understand!
ReplyDeleteGreat blog! Absolutely loved the topic!!! ANd i am super excited for Christmas!!!!!!
Delete-Giuliana G.
Oh my god, don't even get me started on how excited I am for Christmas!!!
DeleteEmily your blogs are always so amazing and I can really tell that you put so much time in effort in what you do. Your comments are amazing! I loved your topic, especially because it was Christmas related!
DeleteI've got the luck to blog about whatever I want for this weeks blog, so I've decided to blog about Christmas and everything that comes with the whole Christmas package. I know they're might be some people who are Jewish and not celebrate Christmas so you might not get it. So Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year, getting presents, having no school, getting to sleep in, spending time with your family and the list goes on. It's so fun on Christmas eve, waiting for the morning to come so you could open your presents and play with them the whole day and relaxing without having a single stress in the world and having hot chocolate in front of the fire. Ahhh it's so much fun and relaxing and then there's new years which I can't start on. Well that's it so ya.
ReplyDeleteJustin Pugsley
I agree with you for how you said Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year! I second that thought! To begin with your blog was epic! It's so cool how we chose the same thing to talk about! I can't believe how I was so excited that I missed out about Hanukkah! Your blog is so much better than mine for the sake that I missed out on so much information! Everything you wrote there is spot on. Stress free days and everything, you've thought of it all. You might of not noticed this but I can see a joke you put in there. You mentioned the word list and that brings me to the nice and naughty list. You will sure be on the nice list though! Fabulous choice of words and the way you wrote your paragraph is just amazing! Basically your blog is putting in the definition of Christmas itself. Awesome explanation, you couldn’t have done a better job! Whimsical blog, I really enjoyed reading it!
DeleteGood job on your blog and what a good idea to blog about Christmas because it's just around the corner. Keep up the good work.
DeleteDaniel Carducci
I love your ideas about Christmas. Reading your blog has made me even more eager for Cristmas!!!
DeleteOver the weekend, I organized a family get together for my mom. I had so much fun! It was a surprise birthday party, of course so we had to be very discrete about it. While my mom was out, the whole family came over to get ready for the celebration. It wasn't long after when my mom returned! We all hid in the kitchen, hand over our mouths, trying not to day a word, when I hear my little cousin chuckle! The house was silent so it was very clear my mom had heard. Quickly she came running into the kitchen to see what the voice was when we all screamed "surprise"! She was totally not expecting a surprise party! We all enjoyed ourselves together! The memories of the party will definitely last forever!
ReplyDelete-Giuliana Giannini
That sounds like so much fun! I bet you had a blast! Especially your mom! Organizing a surprise birthday party for her was so nice of you! You’ll definitely be on the nice list without a doubt! Doing that for your mom is so nice of you, and with all that pressure you still came through! Great job on that! Funny how your little cousin chuckled but we can all understand why. He/she was most likely excited to an extent where they just had to make a sound. If that were me I probably would've been on the floor laughing so hard making a fool out of myself. The best thing, is when they totally don’t expect this to happen and then it does! POP, like a balloon! It’s great to know that she had a lot of fun. Also for the fact that this will definitely be in your scrapbook! A memory to remember is what you quoted! Aren’t those the best types of memories though? The ones that are forever etched into your brain? Anyway, I just feel so happy now since it sounds like you had the best day of your life right there! Actually, wasn’t it your moms best day? Sure sounds like it! Jaw-dropping blog and it seemed like you really enjoyed yourself to the fullest!
DeleteIt sounds like she really enjoyed her birthday. It must've been a really fun experience for all of you. Last year, we had a surprise party for my mom a month before her actual birthday. She was so surprised, she cried of joy, our backyard was full of family and close friends. It was a really fun party. Don't forget to wish your mom a happy birthday!!:))
DeleteWell, I guess today is my lucky day because for this free topic, I'm going to talk to you about my 5 Seconds of Summer obsession. For those of you who don't know, 5 Seconds of Summer is a band consisting of 4 boys (they don't like to be called a boy band). There is Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin, and Michael Clifford. They made a band in 2011 and released their first song "Out of my limit" in 2012. They toured with One Direction before they decided to tour on their own. They discovered that it would be awesome to make a band one day and they became a garage band. They then dropped out of high school to pursue their dreams. That is a pretty awesome life, and their only 18!!
ReplyDeleteGreat biography about the band! Sounds like you really like them! It's great that you know all the details and things about them to! Such as how they don't like being called a boy band. Seems like they do have a pretty good career also! Fabulous job on letting me understand more about it! I like how for this blog you chose to do an obsession like how mr.Katz did one for the lotus eaters! Adding along awesome job for the mini summary of what's going on! You also remind me of one of my friends from elementary! She also enjoyed their music! I agree with you too! It is pretty cool how they are about 18 and they have a good life! Just saying, I’ve always enjoyed your blogs and how they always seem to have this very bright touch to them which make them more unique! I absolutely loved your choice for the free blog choice this week! Exceptionally great job and I can’t wait for next week to read more of your blogs!
DeleteAlmost all my friends are obsessed with 5 sos! Great blog.

Since I just had a hockey tournament, I'm going to blog about what I did and how it was. So I wasn't here in the afternoon on Thursday as well as Cameron and Jacob. I spent the afternoon driving to Ottawa, Gatineau. I had a game at 2:40 and we won that game 2-0. After our game we were lucky enough to get tickets to see the Ottawa Senators play at their home arena. It was really fun and our whole team had a blast. On Friday we had a game against the best team in the province. We lost that game 4-1. We were all very disappointed because that was only our second loss of the season. 30 minutes and a chocolate milk later we got over it. That game was early in the morning so we had the whole day to have fun and party. At supper time we had a huge pot luck and almost every one on the team brought something. We all stayed up till about 11:00 and got a few complaints. Saturday our game was late so we had the whole day to have fun. Not as much fun as Friday, but still a lot of fun. At this point we needed to win our game by seven goals to win our division. If not we were going to be knocked out of the tournament. So in the first period we scored 3 goals. After that we had a good feeling that we were going to win. Unfortunately we did not win by 7 goals. So we were out of the tournament and everyone was really sad. We all thought that we did pretty well for our first tournament. We still have two more to go. That night some people left the hotel and some people stayed. I stayed as well as a few others. We stayed up past midnight because we had no game the next day. Then after that the next morning we had breakfast, packed our bags and headed home. When we got home I went to go visit my grandparents because they just got back from a cruise. We haven't seen them in three weeks and I wouldn't have survived four. They brought back some presents for everyone and we had a nice long chat about their cruise. So that is what I did this weekend and I hope to have another one just like it.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I think my blog might be longer than Emily's!
You know what Josh! Your blog has rendered myself speechless! I don't even know what to say since your blog was so extraordinary! I'm just going to leave it at that then. Even though your blog deserves a million compliments!
Deletesounds like a busy weekend! I like your comment at the end and I think it might actually be longer then Emily's! good job!
DeleteOn my blog I will talk about expectations vs reality. An example of this was when I made cookies with my mom over the weekend. We decided to do these really yummy peppermint cookies. The picture on the cookbook looked really good and perfect so we were excited to see our result. We followed all the directions perfectly and followed all the instructions. When the cookies were finally done cooking, the were nothing close to the picture. Me and my mom had a very fun time comparing the picture on the cookbook to our own cookie. This made me wonder about pictures on menus, social media and magazines. Every company uses a lot of photoshop to make their product look better than it really is. If somebody with a really low self esteem sees a picture of model with a lot of photoshop, they will feel less confident, but that model doesn't actually look like that, she isn't realistic.
ReplyDeleteGreat subject to talk about! Referring back to the last time we had a free choice, how do you come up with these good ideas to talk about? It's great how it comes so naturally to you! Onto your blog, it's nice how you decided to spend time with your mom! Nice bonding time with cooking. Now, your results. I understand your disappointment though! It happens to me all the time, nothing to worry about! I just have to say that I loved how your blog went from one subject to another! Firstly talking about your weekend and the smooth transition to reality was just flawless! It seems so professional and you couldn't have done a better job even if you tried since this one was just too good! I loved everything about your blog and it made me realize a lot of things! Thanks for teaching me something new to be aware about! Wonderful job! Your blog was too remarkable!
DeleteI am going to blog about my computer. My computer is broken, so it has been hard for me to do all my blogs. Although I still got them done. Now we bought a new computer. When our old computer gets fixed we will have 2 computers. When my dad was singing into our new computer, something came up and it said "name your PC". so my dad had to name it. He wanted to name it "Cheep" or "Cheepy" or something because we only got it for 400$. My mom didn't want to name it "Cheep" or "Cheepy" because she thought it was mean. So my dad said "Ok fine". He actually ended up naming it "Creampuff." After that my sisters, my mom, my dad, and me were all laughing like crazy! We ended up keeping the name Creampuff. :)
ReplyDelete-Sophie :)
Even though I can tell you were having technology problems, your blogs are still BREATHTAKING! No joke! Now on to the part that I was looking forward to talk about! The name you guys ended up with was so cute! I can imagine why you like it or love it! It's close to what your dad wanted to start off with but it also gave it a sweet touch (get it?)! Super adorable and delightful like pastries (since it's now named creampuff)! Also, it's great that you all enjoyed the name and kept it! Definite memory to remember! Your blog was too kawaii throughout it all! Like little flowers and that doesn't make any sense... GOOD JOB!
DeleteI’m going to talk about CHRSITMAS!!!!! AH, my favorite thing in the world. It’s my favorite thing in the world because well let’s be honest it’s about the gifts, every kid loves getting gifts. Even though I love all the presents, it’s also fun to hang around with the family and just cherish the moments that we have together! And sometimes during Christmas we go to my grandparents’ house and we bring our dog, he loves it there and especially he loves the amount of food he gets!
ReplyDeleteThat is so true! Christmas should definitely be one of your favourite things in the world! Gifts truly are the best too! Wether they be ones purchased or from the heart we know that they should be cherished and we should appreciate them! Fun to hang with family is one of my favourite sentences from your blog! It's exactly what should be expressed every Christmas! For the food also, it's one of the best parts too! I just can't explain how much I loved your blog though! From the start to bottom, I was so intrigued! Your topic sentence couldn't have been written better and your last sentence was too good! I just thought your blog was flawless! Totally AMAZING!
DeleteI get it, every kid likes to get presents. Christmas is also my favorite holiday and its really close to my birthday. I love spending a lot of time with my family. GREAT JOB SIENNA!!!!!!!!
DeleteAhh I love Christmas too, especially since my birthday is 2 days after Christmas!!
DeleteToday I'm going to talk about how I hate when teachers give projects over the Christmas break. I already have two this year and can imagine I will get more. When you think of the Christmas break you think of relaxing seeing family not asking them to help you with your project. A lot of people also go away during Christmas nut how are you supposed to do that and get your project(s) done. I just hope I will be able to finish my projects before the Christmas break so I can do what I love most. Relax, well after sports.
ReplyDeleteCameron Hubscher
I know what you mean! I hate it when teachers assign assignments for the holidays because aren't breaks suppose to be the times where you have fun and no STRESS? You are totally right though! Thinking of Christmas break makes me think of relaxation for sure! When the teachers do assign homework though, it's like our whole holiday breaks down into pieces. Thanks for the great advice though! Working on our homework earlier so we can have a nice break is one of the best advices I've ever had! We've got a tight schedule though! Homework we are getting now and homework for the break to be done is so much work! However once we finish it all, it will OBVIOUSLY be so worth it if we can enjoy ourselves! Excellent blog! It was so AWESOME!
DeleteFor my blog I will be writing about how my grandparents are coming over tomorrow! They live in northern Ontario and I rarely see them. They are coming to my house for about a week because my parents are going on a trip to Germany. At first I was a bit upset that they were going to Germany without me. But when I heard that my grandparents were coming to take care of my brother and I, I got really excited. I can't wait to see them and talk with them. I can't believe they are coming TOMORROW. I will miss my parents a bit but I will still have lots of fun I'm sure.
ReplyDelete-Erin
That's the spirit! I'm glad that you are taking it the positive way! I know what you mean about how you are going to miss them but it's great that you are taking it the positive way by getting excited for your grandparents visit! Aren't they just the best? Just by reading your blog I can tell that you are literally jumping with happiness and joy! Your making me excited to since my grandparents are coming to visit in a week too! I'm glad we can connect with each other so easily too, we have so much in common! Anyway, your choice for the free blog is very very very AWESOME! Great choice to share your excitement and about what you want to tell the audience! I LOVED your blog so much Erin, great job!
DeleteFor my free topic blog this week, I thought I’d make it a little longer because my previous blogs haven’t been as long as I hoped they would be. I decided that I would blog about how I ended up getting with a set of tickets to go see Taylor Swift next July. It started with my dad coming home from work a bit earlier than he usually does. As soon as he walked in, my mom was listening to the radio. Over the radio, the announcers were saying that if you want to win tickets to see her live next year at the Bell Centre, you just have to guess a song that they played. But, here’s the catch! They only play a certain amount of the song. Plus, it was a song from the 80’s. Was I around in the 80’s!? When the station played the song, my mom new the answer! i dialed the number and it actually started ringing! I never got the line from a radio station so it felt really cool to finally get it. My mom was going to speak when the station would answer but then we realised that she couldn’t because she had previously won 2 months ago when their policy to win is every 3 months. So my mom wrote down the title of the song and the singer for my dad to say. My dad has glasses but he didn't have them on at that moment, so when he spoke it, he said it with a pause in between each word. They gave us the tickets anyway but we thought it was really funny. I’m now super excited to go see her next year, even though it may be so far away, and grade 7 will have gone by. The down part is, my sister will be on her Europe trip with her grade during the concert. She believes it will fall though the concert time. We’re crossing our fingers it won’t though!
ReplyDeleteJulia Daniele
I know what you mean! It's great that you guys got picked for the tickets though! Good job! Now, I don't think your blogs aren't long, they are super duper perfect! As long as you follow the instructions for them, you'll be fine! I especially liked your previous blog! It was amazing! Continuing on, you are so lucky! Scoring tickets for her contest, mega score! I can imagine what you mean there too, actually being picked up by the person when you called. Great achievement! I also loved your humour and the way your blog flowed! Nice surprises sometimes and how you sound so excited! I'll cross my fingers too then, hopefully it won't land on the few days she'll be away! Your blog though, it's was too perfect, your best by far! Can't wait for your next ones! I just loved your blog so much! I LOVED it!!!!
DeleteLucky!!! You get to go to Taylor and One Direction's concert. It's funny because when my mom was a teenager she always won tickets from the radio too!

Ive decided to blog about my hidden ‘’talent’’ which is hurdles in track and field. I have been doing hurdles for about 5 years. I used to do hurdles with a coach but he wasn’t a good coach so we stopped doing it with him. I have been looking for some new coaches but instead of doing that I’m going to try out for the track team this spring. My biggest accomplishment was beating the fastest girl in my age group at hurdles. This isn’t hurdles but I just thought I’d throw it in here but the highest I’ve jumped is 4 feet and 1 inches.
ReplyDeleteAbby
ABBY! Your hidden talent is so cool! I'm so happy you are sharing it now! Also, you should definitely go out for the track team! Reading from your blog you sound fantastic! Can't wait to actually see this in person! It's also so impressive about how you jumped 4 feet and 1 inch! I'd never be able to jump that high! Adding along, great accomplishment! It's awesome how you beat the fastest girl in your age group! Letting you in on a secret, I'm the worst at hurdles! I won't be competition then! Anyway, I thought your blog was to epic to explain in words. You left me in awe. I love all your blogs and I'll encourage you, no doubt! Just tell me when and I'll make sure to make you a poster! Great job Abby, absolutely L-O-V-E-D it.
DeleteRecently I’ve been OBSSESED with this show called Once Upon A Time. Every day after school I turn on Netflix and watch a few episodes. (I know, I know) I should be doing my homework but seriously that show is soooo good! Basically it’s a show that combine’s all the fairy tales we’ve ever known into one show! Though it’s a bit like a twist since the show switches between the past and present. Also some characters personalities are different. So all this got me thinking, if I got chosen to be on this show which fairy tale character would I be? I think I would be Jasmine. Jasmine and I have similar looks; she has black hair, enjoys comfortable clothes and loves blue! I also think our personalities match quite a bit. The good personalities that we share are that she doesn’t care about popularity and she stands up to what she believes in. She could have married a rich man though she chose to marry a lower class( Aladdin) I think that’s such a great quality because a good personality matters so much more than popularity. Also she stood up to her father because she knew marrying the wrong person would end up bad. Even though we share good qualities, we also share some bad ones. One of them is that were really stubborn. If you ask my mom she would go on and on about how stubborn I am! Basically this shows you that if I got chosen to be on the cast of Once Upon A Time they would probably give me the role of Jasmine!
ReplyDeleteI watch that show too! Great summary about the whole plot and I agree with you for how you would match Jasmine! You would definitely be put as her! You know, I've always really enjoyed your blogs and this one was so awesome! I loved all the detailing you added and your blogs are always spontaneous! You always add a little humour and it literally seems like your talking to me face to face whenever I read your blogs! They are always so amazing and I also like the colour blue! Anyway, your personality is also good too! Your always so nice! I can continue to give you compliments but I don't think you would have time for that! All I'm going to say is that your blogs have always been so whimsical and magical for the fact that, they are always so outstanding and they magically brighten up my day when I read them!
DeleteI’m going to blog about a funny story that happened to me just last weekend. Last weekend I left for a hockey tournament in Gatineau. When my dad, my fellow player, his dad and I began our journey we stopped at a “Tim Horton’s” for lunch. I was listening to my dad’s and my friend’s dad’s conversation (I know it’s weird but I was bored) and my dad started talking about vacation. Then my dad said that we were going to London, England. I was so surprised because I haven’t heard that het. I got so mad at my dad for saying that and ruining the surprise that my mom was going to tell me at Christmas. He was bugging me for the rest of the tournament. When we got home I told the story to my mom and she got so mad at my dad. I finally got my revenge…
ReplyDeleteJacob Vallee
I can see why you were disappointed about the surprise being given away just like that by listening! However you are so lucky!!!! Being able to go to London for a holiday is just so unbelievable! I'm just really jealous though for the fact that I've always wanted to go there! I bet you'll have loads of fun! Spending your time speaking to people with british accents! Sounds amazing! I wish I could go there. I really liked how for your ending sentence you wrote that! Sweet, sweet revenge! Great start and finish also! I really enjoyed your blog and it was phenomenal for sure! Now, don't forget to get me a souvenir! (just kidding!!)
DeleteYour ending sounds pretty evil!
DeleteWhat did you do to get revenge ?? StI'll even though your dad spoiled a surprise aren't you excited to go?!??

DeleteFor my blog I will talk about my soccer tryout. So I was getting ready for my tryout and I was in the car. Then we see this gigantic dome with 4 enormous soccer fields. When the game started I was picked in nets. I was nervous that I would mess it up for my team. So it was tied in the second period. then out of nowhere the ball coming at me then with an amazing block and pass it up front to the forward and I got an assist. In the whole tryout I didn't score any goals because I was goalie. I found I did a good job on my first tryout. I had an amazing time at my tryout and I am excited to see if I made the team.
ReplyDeleteDaniel Carducci
Goal! It seems like you really had a ton of fun! Also, don't be nervous (or at least try not to be)! I bet you did amazing! Great block too! If I were picked in goalie I wouldn't be able to block that fast! Seems like you have a lot of skill! I bet you did a really good job for your first tryout too! Since your observation was very accurate to what it actually felt like (most likely)! It must of been amazing! Reading your blog explained to me how much fun you had! It might have been a tad nerve-wracking but it seems like you were excited also! Hopefully you made the team though, anyway, I bet you did! I thought your blog was terrific and your tryout must of been excellent!
DeleteIf anybody is depressed to wake up in the morning because there is snow on the ground the first thing I think about is CHRISTMAS. The first time I see snow I get really excited but all the times after that it’s simply depressing. Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year because you gather with family and friends. No surprise but everybody enjoys getting presents just like me. I love Christmas because it’s so much fun to put all of the Christmas decor in my house. My favorite part about Christmas is when we put up the Christmas tree. My entire family gets together on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and we all eat supper and have a great time. Also when it starts snowing I get really excited because my birthday is coming up.
ReplyDeleteChristmas is also my favourite holiday of the year for the same reason too! I agree too, it is very fun to put up the Christmas tree and decorations! Also, for the presents part too. We have so much in common! I can literally agree with you for everything you wrote in this blog! Especially about the part where we can eat dinner with our families! It's so much fun and it's like a family reunion at the same time! Christmas is so awesome! So are you though! Your so amazing since your blogs are always something I can relate too and it's just plain fantastic how you always make your blogs shine! I loved your blog, it was stunningly PERFECT! When is your birthday though? I would love to wish you a happy birthday!
DeleteFor this blog, I will talk about "My Little Pony." My Little Pony is my favorite TV show and I am a brony/pegasister. If you do not already know, a brony is a person who is a follower of My Little Pony, and so is a pegasister. A brony is mostly a male, and a pegasister is mostly a female. For those of you who think: " Oh gosh! My Little Pony is for babies! (ugh)," I will tell you the truth, and it is not. Did you know that on YouTube there are so many people who are (99.9% of the time, over 10 years of age) bronies and pegasisters who make videos about this show and debate about it. I love the show for the story and the art. There is so much beautiful fan art (art by fans) on Google and it is amazing how much talent people have! There are so many amazing head canons (stories created by people, taking info given in the series) and they make fantastic bedtime stories. I am so interested in My Little Pony and so are 5 more of my friends (including Madurra) that we (all 6 of us) gave each other a pony name and we still continue to spread the bronyness. For the ponies: I am Rarity ( the one on my profile picture for blogging), Madu is Fluttershy, and the rest of my friends are Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle , Pinkie Pie, and Applejack. My friend (Pinkie Pie) has all the songs almost memorized and almost all the lines memorized! If you want to see an episode, I suggest the most recent one is "Twilight's Kingdom". If you want to see an epic head canon, you should see on YouTube, "Celestia, Luna, and the history of Equestria" by ink rose. I am so excited for the season five release in 2015! I can not take the suspense any more! I encourage you to just watch the head canon, just the episode I suggested or both. However, do it! In conclusion, are their any bronies in the class?
ReplyDeleteI love your topic! It's perfect since it describes you perfectly also! It's one of my favourite shows too! Great explanations about the meaning of brony and pegasister! Nice definitions since I get confuse with them sometimes! I totally agree though! My little pony is indeed not just for babies! It's for everyone! If you need backup to prove that, I'm here for you! I'm also so excited too for season 5! The last episode for season 4 was too epic! Like your blog! I can see that your so eager and I guess that I am too! Can't wait! I also hope that the cutie mark crusaders can earn their cutie marks though! Hopefully I'll be able to actually watch it on TV, but I usually like to surf the internet and watch it online! I think your blog is too good to put in words! Excellent for sure! Great job! Absolutely adored it.

DeleteA kid at my old school was a brony, he watched every episode on netflix. Great blog.

ReplyDeleteFor the last two days, Dancing with the Stars has been having their two night finale, so decided to watch it. Well first off, the finalists were Bethany Mota and Derek Hough, Alfonso Ribeiro and Whitney Carson, Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas, Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy. For Monday night, each pair had to perform two dances one repeat dance that the judges have picked and a freestyle dance. The first pair was Bethany and Derek, they performed their first dance of the season, Bethany had a little moment where she was confused and did finish the move that she was doing. It was pretty good, they scored a 36 out of 40. Their freestyle was really awesome, so much action, their score was 40 out of 40. The second pair was Sadie and Mark, they performed their week four (4) dance, "The Quack Attack" (Duck Dynasty Dance) it was funny because Mark was wearing a fake beard for his costume. It was a good dance, they scored a 38 out of 40. The freestyle dance was for all the gamers out there, they dressed like Peach and Mario. It was a nice dance, they scored 40 out of 40. Next, their was Janel and Val, they performed their week six (6) dance, Janel suffered a rib injury earlier that day, but she was able to perform. The dance was great, they scored a 37 out of 40. Their freestyle dance was the complete opposite of action packed, it was full of emotion and intensity, very soft, they scored a 40 out of 40. Finally, we have Alfonso and Whitney, (in my opinion they were gonna win) they've been one of the best since the beginning of the competition. They performed there week one (1) dance, which was totally awesome at the time, but seemed even better than the last time. The dance was really awesome, they scored 40 out of 40. One pair had to be eliminated, it was Bethany and Derek, I was so sad, but I'm okay now. The first night was so awesome. The second night was EVEN MORE AWESOME! It started off with a huge opening number with the whole cast (celebrities) reunited, very pair from the entire season performed a little dance. There were so many dances I couldn't even keep track of how many there were! Meghan Trainor performed "All About That Bass" and Nick Jonas performed his song "Jealous" (♫But I still get jealous♫, it's stuck in my head). For this every pair only had twenty-four (24) hours to make their final dance of the season. Everyone was awesome, each pair got a perfect score (40 out of 40), my favorite pair is Alfonso and Whitney. At the end with all the scores and votes combined, ALFONSO AND WHITNEY WON! Sadie and Mark got 2nd and Janel and Val finished in 3rd. It was a fun season to watch.
I watch dancing with the stars too! Sorry i didn't read your blog because I didn't see the finale yet and you probably put some spoilers!!! Though I hope bethany won

Deleteoh my god. I just saw your last sentence! So much for trying to avoid them XD. Anyways I'm so excited to see all the dances. Oh ya and since I saw the spoilers I read your blog, it was really good how you explained all the dances perfectly! Do you also watch so you think you can dance?
DeleteYour blog is supernatural! How long it is and everything, unbelievable! I've got a few things to say though! I love shows like these where people compete and it's great to know who won and lost! I loved your detailing and the effort you put in this! It might not actually be that though, perhaps you were already exploding with joy that you had to get this all out on your blog. Anyway, I loved your blog, definitely IMPRESSIVELY long! Marvellous blog, LOVED IT!!!!
DeleteWHOA VANESSA.......!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT WAS SUPER LONG!!!PRETTY COOL TOO!!! It was very creative. Smart idea!
DeleteFor this blog, I was going to talk about going to Las Vegas. On the 19th of December, I am going to Las Vegas with my mom and my grandma, It is going to be pretty exciting because the last time I went there I was three and I made the flight attendant and my dad cry on the way there. I am really excited about going because we are going to stay at a 5 star resort and will be watching Celine Dion. In the hotel, there is a gondola and it will be the first time I had ever ridden one. In the middle of the trip, we will be going to the Grand Canyon by a helicopter and it will be pretty exciting for me because I never rode a helicopter and it is going to be a new and exciting experience for me. In overall, I really want to thank my mom for organizing this trip and I hope I get to repay her one day.

DeleteTisha you are so lucky! Your going to Las Vegas! Sounds like so much fun! You better take pictures and show me! Also, interesting fact about making them cry, nice to know I'll never try to get on your bad side! You are also lucky since you will be staying in a five star resort! Like, oh my god, take me with you!!!! You'll also see a famous celebrity, so cool! I can't believe you'll be riding in a gondola! Tell me about your experience after then, I'm so interested! Helicopter riding to see the grand canyon! Just, great job Tisha! Loved your blog since it was so cool and the information, EXCELLENT!!!! I also wish to repay my family members for all they've done for me! Hopefully I can though!

ReplyDeleteFor this blog I will talk about a person that I admire. She is a Youtuber. She is hilarious, realistic and always positive. Her name is Lilly Singh. Her social media name is Superwoman. She is currently 26 years old. I love her videos, she is so funny. Every time I am having a bad day I will just watch a few of her videos and it will change my day completely around. She has been making videos since 2010. She has over 5 million subscribers. She makes new videos every Mondays & Thursdays. Also every month on the 14th she always does a live video where you can ask her questions on like twitter or some type of social media network.. She is an Indian who is Sikh. Just to be clear I do not only like her because she is Indian because first of all I am not Indian nor Sikh . I love how she always stays positive and is always trying to make other people think positive. She is extremely hilarious and honest. She tries being honest but yet not hurting anyone else’s feeling or trash talk someone on the internet and ruin their lives. Lastly I am so proud because she is a Canadian. She is pretty popular on Youtube and all the other youtubers like Miranda Sings, Tyler Oakley and etc are all Americans. She has done many collaboration videos with many people. So there may have been a chance you have seen her before. Anyways to wrap this up Superwomen is extremely awesome and I highly recommend you to start watching I am pretty sure you will enjoy it.

I also watch her too! Well, kind of. I really agree with you though! She is a great person to look up to! Also, nice biography about her! I can see how much of a role model she is too you! I've seen her in many collaborations, thats how I found her! She was so cool, I just had to check out her channel! And I did, I was so happy that I found her. Honesty is a great quality you can find in people and like you mentioned in your blog, she has this. Also, her positivity! Like you said, it can really cheer someone up! It's great to have someone to admire and hopefully, I can find that person one day! Maybe I've already have though! Your blog was so inspirational, just like your role model!
DeleteGood idea to blog about her! I see you have done some serious thinking about this blog and some major research......Anyways, I liked your creativity.

ReplyDeleteFor my blog i'm gonna say why it's a great time to be alive. In the next few years there's gonna be a ton of DC and Marvel movies coming out and it's gonna be awesome! As well as a bunch of tv shows and games to enjoy. I can't wait for christmas. When I listen to my parents complain about the special and how they had to get off the couch to change the channel, it makes me feel grateful for a remote and HD tv
Your blog was pretty funny and spunky! It was awesomely cool since you talked about so many things and showed me new things where I will talk about next! Can’t wait for the DC and Marvel movies too! Thanks for the new information! I did not know that and now I do! Also, for Christmas, it's so exciting!!!! I just want it to fast forward to the holidays! Nice story too, it was hilarious. For the remote changing problem, it happens to me a load of times too though, so your parents aren't the only ones! I thought your blog was superb like a superhero! (Get it? Since you mentioned DC and Marvel? No, okay....)
DeleteToday I am going to talk about Netflix and why I think everyone should get it! If you don't already have Netflix GET IT! With Netflix you don't even need t.v. you can watch anything whenever and wherever you want to watch it! I use Netflix everyday (I'm not sure if thats a good thing..) and the thing I like most about Netflix is the t.v. shows! Netflix always has a new episode to watch so you never get bored. If you still don't have Netflix after you read this blog.... well I cant do much about that but, you're really missing out.
ReplyDeleteTrevor
Your reasons to get Netflix are magnificent! I wish I could get it though! Yet we use another program for movies and TV shows but their in another language my family understands! It's fine you use Netflix everyday though, I would most likely do the same if I had it. Anyway, I agree with you for the TV shows! I wish I could watch unlimited amount of TV shows everyday! Sounds like a dream come true! Also, for the part that it's ALWAYS updated! My cousin has it and she's always watching Frozen! Lucky girl. I know I'm missing out though. Hopefully for Christmas, our parents will surprise my brother and I with this! I thought your blog was tremendously fab! Thanks for the reasons I can persuade them with! Outstanding job!
DeleteFor the free choice of this blog the topic that I am going to pick is my crazy family, especially yesterday. If you don't know my brother is in sec 5 and is ten times smarter than me. So whenever I have a test my parents care about it a lot. But the things is that my brother does everything at the last minute and as I tell him it will cost him someday. So I am watching tv and all I hear is ben!!! let's go and i'm thinking hey this might be the day. So I eat supper then my mom and bro come in the house with a 100! papers and then my mom is mad at my brother. So I go downstairs and see my mom almost about to kill my brother because the printer broke down so with ten minutes left of Bureau En Gros of being open my mom get's this little thing and then finally the printer starts working so my brother so printing so many papers and then as always he got lucky and gave his project on time. FYI the papers that he was printing for was for his personal project. Now you know why I am a little tired sometimes with friends.

For this blog, since it's free choice, I am going to talk about hockey. :) As a lot of people know, I play hockey. I have been playing hockey for 5 years, this is my sixth year. I stared playing when I was 7 years old.Currently I play on a girls team, Peewee AA Elites. I'm the captain of my team. This year is the second year being captain, I was captain second year Novice A with the boys. My position is centre and I am #5. I forgot to mention that I also play for the school hockey team, but I'm sure everybody knows as I have been leaving class early the last couple of days. Leaving class early is fun, but other times not fun. Sometimes it's not fun because you have to catch up on everything, it could be a real pain sometimes. The only sport I play is hockey, and I have A LOT of it, for example since saturday I've had 8 practices or games for my regular season team or my school team. I NEVER get sick of hockey . In the summer I'm always outside playing street hockey. One day I wish to be in the olympics playing hockey for Canada.I love hockey and I'm never going to give it up.
