I clearly remember my Saturday mornings! I used to wake up, get some cereal and go downstairs to watch all my favourite Saturday morning cartoons.
Do you have a favourite cartoon? Why is it your favourite cartoon? Explain.
Do you have a favourite cartoon? Why is it your favourite cartoon? Explain.
No i don`t have a favorite cartoon because I don`t really enjoy watching cartoons. I have in the past when I was younger -about 3 years old- but up until when I was about 7 or 8, I stopped because they no longer interested me. When I did watch them they used to be Caillou or Dora. They were funny back then but if I were to watch them now I would find them boring! I`m now into more of reality types of shows and it`s MUCH for realistic, obviously!

The same thing with me! I never watched cartoons! Great blog Julia!

ReplyDeleteAs a kid, I never really watched cartoons. Cartoons just weren't my thing. I preferred to watch regular television as to learning nothing with cartoons. I didn't like watching fake or unreal characters even though they could be funny. Watching real actors on TV was more my thing. When I was younger, I wasn't a morning riser. I would always wake up at around 9:00am and head downstairs for breakfast and by the time I was downstairs, the cartoons were ending. I'm still not a morning person but I'm also not a cartoon person.

I used to watch some cartoons, but now I don't! I also enjoy watching regular television! which are your favorite shows - it wont let me put a question mark -

I used to watch cartoons when I was younger, but I don’t really watch them anymore, because I’ve just grown out of them. But when I was younger my favorite cartoons were Caillou, Scooby Doo, etc… I like Caillou because he would have the exact personality as I would when I was younger. I liked Scooby Doo because I loved the dog , I forgot his name, but I loved the dog and I loved how they used to go on adventures and do fun stuff and solve mysteries.
ReplyDeleteMe too i watched Scooby Doo its so funny! great blog Sienna!

I loved Scooby Doo. It was one of my favorite cartoons. It was a lot of fun solving the mysteries. Great Job.
DeleteSOPHIE DILLON
ReplyDeleteMy favorite cartoon when I was younger was Scooby Doo, because there was always a different mystery each time I watched it. Scooby Doo (the dog) and Shaggy are both so funny. Everyone would always solve the mysteries, but Shaggy and Scooby would always stay back and run away from the monsters. That is one of the many reasons why I love that cartoon. There were so many episodes that i would never get tired of watching it.
I used to watch Scooby Doo aswell! -Giuliana G.
DeleteMy favorite cartoon is "bugs bunny". When I was younger, I recall being on the couch waiting for it to air on TV! I really like the character Pepé Le Pew, a skunk that always strolls around in Paris! I think he adds a lot of comedy to the show! I’m confident that if I would go back, and re-watch the entire series, I would have recognition of the scenes!

Oh yeah I totally forgot about Bugs Bunny, I love that show.

ReplyDeleteI didn't really watch any cartoons when I was younger (I still don't...).But I do enjoy one cartoon "Scooby-Doo" and it was really fun to watch. It was about four teenagers (Shaggy,Daphne,Velma and Fred) and a dog,Scooby-Doo,that would solve a mystery in each episode. They would always be chased by a "monster" and what I remember is that Velma would usually say GING-KIES!!! haha It was such an awesome show!

DeleteI've forgotten all about Scooby-Doo over the years, but I still remember loving the show
That is so true! Scooby - doo’s such a good show! I remember watching it when I was little with my brother. We would usually get scared but we still loved it anyway! As a kid, I always had this habit to draw what I found most interesting in the cartoon. Weird, however when I think about it now it makes me smile!!

As a little girls I really enjoyed watching Caillou and Barney. I remember that when I was 2-3, I would watch one episode of Caillou and one episode of Barney before going to take my nap. I recall one time in particular when I was finished watching my two shows, I fell going up the stairs to take my nap. I had something in my hands so when i fell, instead of landing on my hands I landed on my collarbone and broke it. Now every time I see those two shows it reminds me of when I broke my collarbone.
ReplyDeleteAwe thats not a good way to remember a show. At least you have a story to tell!!! Try not to brake anything else. -Giuliana G
DeleteI’m not really a big fan of cartoon shows anymore, but when I was little I loved a bunch! But my favorite one was Dora. Dora was my all-time favorite because I really enjoyed how we got to sing along with her. I also really liked how she taught us a bit of Spanish, though I should’ve paid more attention because that really would’ve helped since we need to learn Spanish for IB. It also was very amusing for me when they hid items and we had to find them. Plus all the other interactive games made me like that show so much more! I even loved her so much that I had a Dora cup, two Dora dolls, a Dora playhouse, a Dora fishing rod, a Dora backpack, a Dora lunchbox annnnnnd a Dora water bottle…..I know a little crazy huh? So you can probably tell now why this was my favorite cartoon show. :)
ReplyDeleteI used to always look for swiper and repeat the spanish words she would say.I really enjoyed reading your blog:)
DeleteI liked Dora when i was little also! my favorite character was Swiper because he would always remind me of my dog. My dog try's to steal any kind of food possible.

ReplyDeleteI don't really watch morning cartoons anymore, but i used to so i did have a favorite. My favorite cartoon used to probably be Phineas and Ferb. I liked Phineas and Ferb because they would build something new every episode and it would always be them home alone with there sister Candice. Candice would always try to tell on them but their mom would never believe it, so she would try to show her, but their structure would somehow always disappear. It would either blow up, sink into the ground, fall apart etc. When i was 3-4, I liked Dora,Caillou.
ReplyDeleteBrianna Ware
Oh my gosh so many shows I forgot about! My brothers watch "Phineas and Ferb" and I sometimes watch it with them, it's a pretty awesome show.

ReplyDeleteI used to watch cartoons all the time and I still do because why not. The only difference from then and now is they are my "I'm bored, what's on TV" show. When I was younger my favorite cartoon would probably be "Dora" because it was the only TV channel I watched and "Dora" was always on, but I don't watch it anymore(DUH).Now my favorite cartoon would have to be "rocket monkeys" because the monkey "lack intelligence" to the point that it's funny.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger I loved watching cartoons. If I had to chose one cartoon to be my favorite I would chose the "Flinstones" I used to love watching this show. My favorite character was Pebbles. I even dressed up as her for Halloween once. I liked this cartoon because all the characters because they were all really funny. I always loved watching this show in the mornings with my family.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger my favourite cartoon was the Flinstones and Dora. I used to be addicted to Dora when I was younger, even though my favourite character was Boots. I also used to be compared to her many times when I was younger too. I also used to love watching Franklin on a Saturday morning, because that was the only time it played, and I used to love it. My favourite character in Franklin was Bear. Other cartoons that I used to watch were Scooby-Doo, The Looney Toones Show and Toopy and Binou. One cartoon that I will always enjoy watching is Tom and Jerry. I say this because it will never get old and I always enjoy watching the same episode over and over again.
Oh Ya!! I use to watch Dora because people called me Madora like (Ma)(Dora) and I use to have short hair like her. Also I loved the character boots.

ReplyDeleteIf you count anime as cartoons then I would have to say anime all the way! Anime just has to be my favourite because the way there art and style is, it’s just so cool! Personally speaking I also adore cartoons! Not as much as my love for Japanese animation though. Anime’s my favourite ‘cartoon’ because I just like how we have to read subtitles that are on the bottom of the screen or rather on the top. Obviously they speak Japanese but the lyrics are in english. I think animes are just like reality shows but animated like manga. The most popular reason for my love for Japanese animation is that they are also fantasy based. Non - realistic things happen and they usually take place in Japan. Now that I think about it I don’t even know why I connected it to reality shows XD …. Well, probably for the reason that animes are mostly about teenagers ….

When I was younger, I used to watch spongebob on saturday mornings. I would wake up, get my fruit loops and watch some spongebob. I used to really enjoy watching spongebob when I was younger and so did most of my friends. I liked spongebob because of the characters and the humour. Spongebob and patrick would always do loud and stupid things and it would make squid ward really annoyed, spongebob going to work every day at the krusty krab.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger my favorite cartoon of all times is Looney Tunes. It was my favorite cartoon ever because I thought that Tweety was the cutest bird in the entire world. He always found a way to get Sylvester the Cat to lose. I also enjoyed the Roadrunner and the Coyote. The Coyote always made me laugh because the Roadrunner was much more intelligent. Whenever the part of Bugs Bunny came in eating his carrot, I knew he would make me laugh.
ReplyDeleteI loved the road-runner too. Great blog Christina. Beep-beep
DeleteI used to love that show it was amazing. My favorite character was Daffy duck.

I used to watch a lot of cartoons when I was younger. I always used to watch the backyardagains. I have like ALL the dvd's for them. I loved them. I used to have too too's of all the characters. I loved them because they would talk to you threw the and say something, I always responded in such an enthusiastic voice every time. On the shows they sang a lot and always sang with them. My mom even has some videos of me doing exactly what they were doing. It's like I was one of them. I was a really fun moment in my childhood. Sometimes when I'm bored I still watch them... Wait what!?
ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger I used to watch some kind of carton version of batman . Every Saturday I used get up early eat breakfast as fast I can so I could not miss it. ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger I used to get up really early, eat breakfast, then Go watch Ninja Turtles. I used to think that Ninja Turtles was the best show ever made until, one day I found, Sponge Bob. After that day I could not stop watching, I was addicted. I even started watching it on youtube because one morning a week was not enough. To this day I still enjoy watching the best show ever, Sponge Bob

ReplyDeleteWhen I was little I use to watch “Tom and Jerry”. This cartoon is about a cat named Tom and a mouse named Jerry. The show is mainly about Tom’s attempts of capturing Jerry . Tom rarely succeeds in catching Jerry, mainly because of Jerry's cleverness. I use to adore this show because it was really funny I thought. I also loved the show “Clifford the Big Red Dog”. This is about a girl’s adventure that she has with a gigantic red dog. They would enter competitions and work together to win it. In conclusion my favourite shows were “Tom and Jerry” and “Clifford the Big Red Dog”, but w when I was younger I use to watch a lot of cartoons mainly because I had a lot of spare time. But no really anymore.

I normally don't watch cartoons but if there is no other show I will watch cartoons. I don't have much time but when I do I would play video games, read or listen to music. I used to watch a lot of cartoons like Tom and Jerry or Phineas and Ferb. I thought that you could actually do all the things that they were doing but then my parents told me that I couldn't do all those things. That's probably when I stopped watching cartoons as much .
ReplyDeleteMy favorite cartoon is definitely “Adventure Time” because its action packed. Every episode the characters go on crazy and random adventures that are hilarious. The two characters are Finn and Jake. Finn is a human and Jake is a shape shifting dog. They meet new friends and fight different enemies. But my favorite part of the show is that it’s so random. When you watch the show, you never now what to expect.

My favorite cartoon is Scooby Doo. I love Scooby Doo because it’s all about mystery and I don’t know why but mystery is one of my favourite things. Since I’ve been sick for the past couple of days all I have been watching is Scooby Doo. I think in the past two days I have watched over ten episodes. It makes me happy to watch that show because I have been watching it ever since I can remember. I tried watching it with the three year old I babysit, Milan and he does not like Scooby Doo. My favourite character is probably Shaggy because he loves food and he’s scared of a lot of things so he’s pretty much a boy version of me. If I had a talking great dane I honestly have no clue what I would do. I hope that tomorrow I will be able to watch a lot more Scooby Doo and hopefully it will cheer me up so I don’t have to think about my tummy.

My favorite cartoons were My Little Pony and Dora, Jacob two two, and Fairly odd parents. However Dora became really boring in a while so I stopped that. Then I could not have any access to Jacob two two and Fairly odd Parents, until recently. I started watching Fairly odd Parents about four months ago until ,I could not have access to it anymore. This cartoon would tell it's spectators how a normal child in a very weird world would have to handle annoying parents that did not understand his situation and an evil baby sitter that tortured him. However, My Little Pony is still very entertaining till this day. Even males that are older than the normal age group(about 4-10) enjoy this and make videos on it on YouTube. To most this is what they watch almost everyday . However, they watch it for it's art and the way the characters are drawn. In conclusion, these are my favorite cartoons and why I enjoyed them.
